Of course you can stick to level 1 forever Hanb! I assume she can't actually come out of the screen and get at you (gosh, what a scary thought!) maybe stick to level 1 for another week or so? I found level 2 harder at first, but stuck with the easy woman, took it quite easy and took a breath when I needed one, and it got easier! Good luck!
Who's icelolly? Where are you going? And why are you scared to commit?? Sorry, just being nosey! :rotfl:0 -
I'll stick at it and hopefully live to tell the tale! That will teach me for thinking i was fit!
Icelolly is a really cheap holiday site. I'm going to be booking either Ibiza or Algarve through them for a cheapy sunshine all inclusive chill out in October. A week all inclusive in Algarve would cost £200 and in Ibiza it's £240 - bargain! And i checked - the AI is all food and drinks throughout the day - only local alcohol but that suits me just fine! I just get scared when i book a holiday that it will end up being a disaster, but i need to get away and i've not heard any horror stories about them so i'm sure all will be fine :undecided0 -
Evening Cheery. Well done on the Phd. I love your blog but sadly cant work out how to follow you. I am becoming addicted to blogs and attempting to do one myself. I love the living room and could just curl up in your lovely chairs to read a good book. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. I can't open the pic of the cheery room, my screen is just showing a white box with a red x inside it where the picture is, no idea where to find the cheery blog either:huh:Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000

Oh dear, sorry for mucking up all my links!
Cheery blog is here
and living room picture is here
Hope that clears things up!
long day at work that has mostly involved sitting in cafes drinking teaI love my job
(but I realised today that the non advance train ticket has gone back up to £12 a day! £10.85 if I book in advance, which I generally do, but I'd got a bit lazy as the non advance one went down to £11.15 for a while. However, it's gone back up, so I'll save myself about £10 a month if I book in advance, best get on the case!)0 -
cherisong, no idea about following blogs, I've never done it myself, I tend to just have ones that I pop in on when I remember
On my version of mine, there's a blue bar running along the top (above my garden picture) and in the top left hand corner as you look at it it says 'follow share report abuse' - I assume you click follow there? If you haven't got it, no idea, but let me know and I'll investigate!

Ah, Cheery Daff, you really are a little cheery daff, bringing in a little bit of sunshine and colour on an otherwise dull and chilly day. Had a little sneaky at your blog which is delightful. Lovely to see some other home crafters. But how do you find the time? I seem to spend my evenings exhausted on the sofa! Your herby flowers look gorgeous - might have to go and do some planting! My garden is my happy place to be. Helps me feel grounded and centred. I'm overwhelmed by the beautiful views you have! You lucky girl!Commercial Debt £14587.22 Student Debt £7747.73

Ah, thanks you lot
Cherisong, yep, that's my garden, tiny and scruffy as it is! I did laugh at those pictures I posted the other day of the tree coming down, it's the most unflattering angle of the garden, and makes it look a right mess!
Thanks RubyHow do I find the time? Simple really - I often don't :rotfl: You might notice that I generally don't post more than a couple of times a week at the minute at least! Partly though I've noticed that having a cheery little blog *makes* me do cheery things, just so I can take pictures of them :rotfl: That, and my mum rings me up and quizzes me if I haven't posted for a few days :rotfl: Most of the things I do are really small!
It also helps that I only work 2 days a week - and I certainly don't do anything on the evenings when I've worked in the day, not with a 120 mile round commute! The other 3-5 days I spend avoiding my PhD, so always plenty of time for cakes and crafts :rotfl: My herby flowers really are just herbs (and weeds) - just mint and oregano etc that I planted last year then completely ignored and now they've taken over the place! :rotfl: They look surprisingly nice in a little jar with some rocket flowers (!) and a few bits of vegetation :T
Sadly the views aren't from my house, but only about 5 mins walk up the road :T I really am indeed very lucky, I love living here (especially as there's those views five mins walk in one direction, and the city centre etc 30 mins walk in the other direction! :T) Your garden sounds cheery too - do you have any pictures of it?
I must confess that until I started taking photos, my garden was the bane of my life! But I've found that when you take the camera out and take photos of *extremely small* bits that are really cheery - a butterfly on a flower, or little roses or something, it makes you focus on the cheery bits - and I try to keep my little blog mostly full of cheery bits, cheery pictures especially, so t's a place I can go and look to remind myself of the cheery things in life :T I laughed posting that picture of my living room yesterday, it certainly doesn't look like that at the minute! :T But my cheery little blog isn't for posting pictures of piles-to-be-sorted! :rotfl:
I'd well recommend it for anyone who wants to keep track of what they've achieved, celebrate the cheery things in life, and kid themselves they live a calm, well ordered, creative, fabulous life all the time :rotfl:0
