I mostly just drink tea :)

Absolutely gorgeous day here :j :j We were lying in bed, staring at the clouds through the skylight at 7.30 this morning when a HUGE lorry arrived. Our street has about 14 houses, and there's ALWAYS someone doing some kind of home improvements, building an extension, hiring a skip, adding windows, replacing roof tiles etc etc etc At the min we have 2 skips, a house with scaffolding building an attic extension, and this lorry this morning brought more scaffodling for another house <yawn>

Anyway, we heard one man say 'you should be wearing safety boots, not trainers!' and the other one said 'I don't care about that! This whole job's illegal anyway!' (!) I'm really intrigued now at what they're doing and what kind of building regulations it's contravening :rotfl:

PhD PhD PhD in store today, plus Shred Day 15 later  and at 3 we're off to visit friend who just got out of hospital, and to pick some blackberries! :j :j :j And another friend's arriving tomorrow for a wedding :j So al go, but it does mean I've got about 5 hours to get on with writing this chapter this morning!

What are you all up to on this fine sunny morning?/

plus Shred Day 15 later  /

I'm now on day 7 and it's still not a huge amount of fun! I'm sticking at it but i'm not sure that it's done much good yet, i'm pretty impatient and seeing as i'm off to V festival tomorrow i will undo all of my hard work so far and have level 2 to look forward to when I return  On the plus side my mum has now ordered it too so I can laugh when she rings to tell me shred hurts! :)

Always fun to have someone else to laugh at (sorry, about it with) :rotfl: Well done on getting up to day 7 though! I'm finding I'm getting a little bored with level 2 after 4 days :rotfl: I think the problem is there's so much leaning on arms, and my arms are really pathetic (and I broke my wrist a few years back, I like to blame that for me being feeble, although it probably has nothing at all to do with it!) I think I undid all my hard work too last week :o

Well isn't it quiet around here today!

Day 99 of the 100 days is pretty much over now   And what have I done?? Had a nice visit with a friend :rotfl: cleaned the bathroom :rotfl: Eaten a couple o pancakes, and a fair few other things too :rotfl:

Did do a couple of hours of PhD, but really not enough! Pah! And also didn't get round to doing Shred!! :o Don't really like doing it before breakfast, but if I don't it's really hard to fit in, because I need to do it in the kitchen because the floors are likely to cave in anywhere else, and Mr daffs is busy doing camper van conversion activities in the kitchen all day! Pah! Well, I know what I need to do tomorrow... :o

(Oh, and I also made a nice pretty chart counting down my 100 days - which I'll now have to fill in saying I've done nothing much useful other than make a pretty chart :rotfl:)

Ah well, dentist in the morning

    Night all!

    xx

    Morning all! :T

Cloudy and grey and raining here. But I'm up and shredded :J (must check back and figure out which day!) and breakfasted, and have put world to rights with Mr Daffs. Now got to jump in the shower (I actually sealed round the bath - so this'll be my first proper Standing-Up shower for weeks and weeks and WEEKS! :j :j) and then off to the dentist

I don't really mind the dentist - it's more about being told off :o My last dentist was an absolute fiend and was really mean and horrid :o but this one is fine. But I've got a couple of really sensitive teeth so I might need a couple of fillings :(

However - cheery side is - this is the first time EVER I've actually got money set aside (in the 'emergency' fund) to go to the dentist!! :j :j :j Always had to scrimp and pull it out of the weekly budget before, but no longer, and it feels GREAT!! :j :j :j :rotfl:

Oh wow, that's what I aspire to, I'm scrimping and juggling money between accounts to get the car insurance paid.

The 100 day plan is good, sounds rather scary though when you realise how many of those days are gone because you will be at the day job.

Hope all was ok at the dentist, will check back later.

good luck at the dentists, well done for having the money in back up already. Although i regularly go to the dentists, dental bills are never budgetted for.
