Morning, pancakes with no eggs. Mmmm I will have to give that a whirl. Every time I feel like pancakes I have no eggs.

Love the idea of cutting the pictures out and putting them in a book. I just have lots of magazines on the bookshelves. It is one of the things that I cannot declutter as well as my books of course. In fact I have just been reading 25 Beautiful Homes from Feb 09. It is like reading a whole new one.

Oooh, I *love* talking about pancakes!! :rotfl:

I'm not sure mine would pass any kind of expert testing :rotfl: I basically bung *some* flour in a jug, add *some* milk, stir with a fork, add *some* water, then get the balloon whisk on it til it's smooth (ish) and then a pinch of salt, and you're laughing! I don't generally add anything else to the mix (unless we've got loads of eggs, and we might add one - usually if Mr Daffs is making them). I pour onto the maker thing, start to cook one side, bung the mix on (sweet or savoury or whatever), then fold over. Unless they're going to have something like jam on, in which case I just cook both sides, and then take them off and spread jam on :j

(is now the time to admit Mr Daffs just made some with hot chocolate powder in the mix and I had one (just one!) with home made jam and reduced strawberries on??) :rotfl:

Ruby (sorry, I got your name muddled up last time! :o), don't be afraid of your sewing machine!! I'd love to see pics of what you've made :j I'm sure it's fab :j

Remembered about your table yesterday Fay when I was contemplating covering my seed box (which is actually an old CD holder thing) with pics of lovely flowers :j Did we ever get to see a picture of it??

(maybe if I keep repeating it it'll actually get done??) :rotfl:

Lovely day - so 3 hours of concentrating, then if I've done that I'll have the rest of the day to play :j (shout at me if you see me!!) :rotfl:
  • Sweetie we can still see you :)

I hope the work goes well :)

They *are* gorgeous - they look sequinned? And you do have a fantastic view, *and* everything looks really nice. Ye gods and little fishes, I really hope my place looks that nice.....

Very happy with the pancake talk, btw - Cheery, from the sound of it, you're using very rough proportions - maybe the same as any pancake recipe in a book, just not with the egg. And I love the sound of vanilla essence in the sweet ones, oh my word. Waitrose do fresh vanilla custard **wistful look**

Indeed and a lovely little table and chairs to enjoy it!

    Sneaky peaks are great

Instead of tidying up the house, I decided to move tables from one room to another and reset them up again

whoops!!means I've no time to hoover - oh well :D

Cheery the decoupage table is almost finished - DD and I were doing it - so when its done by us both, I'll post a pic :)

Onwards - leaving soon for the airport :)

PS I must get out of my PJ's whoops
