I've changed the original one now cherisong, so there is no difference!
(But then I'm not entirely sure what made it a referrers link in the first place, so I'm probably not the best person to ask!)
Sounds like you had quite a restful one then cheri! :T :T
Mr Daffs has gone off to do a singing workshop this morning - first time he's done this on his own, and first time he's actually had to be somewhere important first thing in the morning for about three years! He's proper nervous, and now I'm all nervous for him too(although he's more than capable, and very well prepared!). So, fingers crossed and a few cheery vibes if anyone's got any to spare!
Working at home for me today. And I think I'm going to be spending the first part of it in my pjs0 -
Here's to working in pjs! I have to be up properly and have a clean hallway by 11am, but right now, since I've decided not to have a tv anymore, I'm in pjs in the living room, having a *play* on the laptop - I love this! I'm glad you're having a homeday, Cheery.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

How lovely KC! :T :T Hope your hallway is clean and tidy!
Work is EXTRAORDINARILY tedious today. Sorting things in an endnote database - theoretically simple, only I can't just drag and drop to a couple of different groups, I have to add a note to each reference, which seemingly requires me to save each reference as I'm going. Which takes 15 seconds. Not too long, but long enough to get distracted :rotfl: and not long enough to warrant getting something else done.
And then the whole thing shut down  currently trying to see if it's saved the changes I made to each individual reference, even if not what I've dragged into groups, but it's taking a good 5 minutes (and counting) to open the damn file again
<yawn>
So, I'm thinking, let's start today all over again:j :j :j :j I'm not dressed, so it's not too difficult :rotfl: I reckon shred, a quick wash, a second breakfast
and then get on the sofa with the laptop - possibly with a film on in the background - as I don't really need to concentrate too much for this and it'll give me something to do with my spare 15 seconds :rotfl:
(oh, and it's opened now, and the changes are saved :j :j)
Was wondering how long my 15 seconds would add up to over the course of the day?? Sadly 15 seconds in itself isn't really long enough to get anything done without being overly distracted from work - I reckon film in the background is the best plan
Shred first though :eek:0 -
Well, I did Shred, and spent the afternoon watching films and working :T
And then managed to lose the entire days work, doing goodness knows what...
Ah well.
Then it took me nearly 2 hours to drive 40 miles to friend's house.
Fortunately only one hour back though.
I'm bl**dy exhausted! In York tomorrow too - so got to leave at 7 <yawn>0 -
Now then lovely folk!
You know that fabulous happy skippy cheery course I'm doing?
The woman's offering a free place on the next one! And a space on another course she's teaching on run by a friend.
Leave a comment on the cheery blog to win...I'd do it if I wasn't already doing it! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
go and win!0 -
Bleurgh
Grumpity grump, had a grumpy, lonely and fed up day todayPossibly due to all the cake I ate yesterday
Toddled off to the cafe this afternoon, and did some work, and had a good old think. Went to the fruit and veg shop and bought lots of healthy tasty things. Back home now, going to do a bit more work (I didn't get started til gone 11am, and not very quickly then!) and then have a lovely tasty stir fry, then sit down and do some Working Out.
Paid tomorrow, and I'm feeling a bit of a shake up of the budget coming on....0 -
Good grief! What a horribly uncheery few days, apart from the lovely online course. And I bet your pjs were nice and cheery
Have a lovely stir fry
EDIT - and I entered the giveaway!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
:j :j KC :j It really is the most cheery thing to get a cheerful little email every day pointing you to look at something cheerful
And to have a big long delicious blog post twice a week inviting you to do cheery things and think about life
(should have gone back and read them all today shouldn't I! :rotfl:)
I think part of the problem is that my lovely office mate at work has been away for a fortnight, so work's been a bit quiet, and me and Mr Daffs seem to have been alternating who's in the house for the last few weeks - whenever I'm working at home, he's out, whenever I'm at work, he's in! He's out again today (until about midnight) - pah! And then he's here all day tomorrow - but I'm in York! Think we need to schedule tomorrow night as a sleepover night
(think I just don't do very well on my own at the minute! Usually I'm fine, but if I'm a bit hormonal, or it's all the time, I get a bit glum!)0 -
Aww Cheery, hope you and Mr Daffs can coordinate your schedules soon, and you feel more cheery soon!
I've entered too - could do with a push to be more creative (and cheery!)Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Sleepovers are very cheery
Plus, Daffs, remember what you said about food - keep eating those veggies, not just the sugary stuff
 this helps too, of course2023: the year I get to buy a car0
