Mr Daffs is wielding a pickaxe :D

Get the boiler on. He's going to need a **hot** bath after this...

Get the windy pick on them. It'll be fine.

    But use PPE...

Thanks LT, but I think I might pass on that one :D Much as I enjoyed watching :D

(pickaxe wasn't wielded for very long - turned into a hammer and chisel job, much more civilised! Lots of mess to clear up now though - yawn)

    Pancake first :D

Don't advertise it in the local paper as "Free hard core" - you get a lot of funny replies...

Did you? :D I completely forgot I sent that one! :rotfl: :rotfl: Posted it on Saturday, our post obviously not as efficient as yours! :rotfl: (although I think it was second class...)

Well, the path is demolished and in pieces :T :T Discovered that the stone lining the path is actually rather nice old slabs (think, er, like those lying down grave stones you sometimes get on the floor of churches...). So trying to dig them out. Dug down 18 inches in front of one and still can't see the bottom

Quite a job then! But rather fabulous, because those alone will make an absolutely gorgeous surface for me to sit on :D And all for free! :j :j

(probably another week or two worth of digging though...)

Pippi - might need willow advice! friend says she'll take me to cut some from a tree by a stream, but recommends only putting in about 12 inch bits - that's nowhere near high enough to hide me from people ambling up and down the street! What's bad about buying longer ones and putting them in? (don't want to steal huge long bits from a tree! And what's the difference, anyway??)

Oooh a new flute! What make has your friend got? What have you got at the moment? I remember saving and doing mad sponsored things to raise some money towards my new one when I was a teenager.. soo worth it though, even though I have neglected it badly lately I could never get rid of the lovely thing. But yes probably worth getting yours checked over first as a service can make a big difference. I'm sure I will be equally as worried about being useless btw! :D

Sounds like great progress with the path! :T
