I will indeed keep you updated, I'm very excited!
I've been putting it off for over a year because I didn't have any money either, and I had a PhD to finish
:rotfl:
Just popped over to the blog of the woman who's running it - she's teaching on another one - sparkles. Gosh, so many things to do!(I'm not going to do that one too!). Pippi - you SO need to get up and running with an online course! :j :j

Phew! I'm worn out now! :rotfl:
Quite a cheery day here :j :j Shred this morning, and a lovely long hot shower (aren't they just the best?? Not *quite* a bath, but still). Then I've been pottering round the attic, putting things away and cutting things up
Followed my instructions for living cheerfully, and have started a Happiness JournalSupposed to be thinking of 100 things I'm grateful for, in the past and present, and WHY I'm grateful for them. That should keep me occupied for a while! :rotfl:
Then I've been out in the garden for an hour, pulling up weeds and piling them in a corner. I SO need to move the compost bin, but that involves clearing the space it needs to go, and the reason I want to move it is to create a seating area, but that also involves getting a new door, demolishing a small wall and building a new one, building some kind of fence... all seems a little overwhelming right now! So I did some weeding instead
Back inside now, and could do with a nap! :rotfl: but my friend (who lives in Belgium) is coming round for tea at 7, so I'd best get changed, and start cooking! She's vegan, so fortunately I'll be able to try out one or two of my cheery recipes from the other course that hasn't finished yet :rotfl:
(Oh, and must dig foldy bike out of the garage! Thought I'd cycle to work (well, to the station, not all 60 miles!) tomorrow, that'll save me £2 on bus fares that can go in the treats pot :j :j
Right - changed. Pancakes. Black beans. Brocolli. Almonds. tahini. Or something. Apricot muffins.0 -
Hey cheery
wow you are zooming along with your little life! Sounds like you are really get on with things and are super organised! I'm still ploughing through my assignments! Hope you have a lovely night x0 -
Morning - sorry I've been AWOL - beginning to feel a bit more human and but still overwhelmed. Looked at the online course - looks interesting.
Have a great day today - hope you got the bike sorted:)
When are you thinking of doing your garden - I will be soon sooth at wik for at least a week or two in early summer... I could easily pop over with my tools......
On another note if you were thinking of something willowish - you will need to get cuttings in within the next monthTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
:money:Sleeves up folks.:money:0 -
Ooooh! That WOULD be exciting! (although I think you'd probably laugh at me being overwhelmed, my garden is about the size of a postage stamp! :rotfl:)
I was indeed thinking of something willowish - any recommendations for suppliers/types of willow etc? Was just thinking of a kind of criss-crossy wavy lattice type fence that would just grow and I could just weave it in0 -
Bored today :rotfl: lovely office mate not here and I'm proper lonely in the office all by myself
Thank goodness for tea break I say! :T :T
Boss has just come down with an enormous box of biscuits to say thank you for all my hard work these last few weeksHow lovely of her
Now have to try desparately not to eat them :rotfl: :rotfl: Will take home and save for mad binge after vegan thing is over
:rotfl: (or perhaps I'll donate to nephew's 5th birthday party buffet on Saturday)
Apparently we're meant to be on strike tomorrow and Thursday. Never entirely convinced this is the best way to solve things, but solidarity and all that - and I quite fancy a couple of days off :rotfl: Shame they're not together really!
Not very money saving, as they do dock a couple of days pay (and donate to the student hardship fund). But work isn't busy right now, so ideal time to have a couple of days off I think :j
Now - anyone want a biscuit?0 -
ooooh biscuit yes please, yum yum!0

Could just do with a biccie with my tea...“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

Have a look at wiggly wigglers for willow and hedging and stuff - dunno how they compare price wise with others (they do Tala stuff which is more expensive than John Lewis)
Now do you want this 'ere trowel or not!
NL x
p.s. I rescued some wooden fruit storage boxes from the charity shop that will do nicely for my onion and shallot sets ... woo hoo Cheery and Pippi - do you know what an inspiration you two are0
