Thanks Makeup! :T My flowers weren't half as complicated as that, in fact, you probably wouldn't recognise them as flowers at all! :rotfl:

Here's a direct link to the flower pattern, was a bit hidden.

Burdastyle is great, lots of free patterns and some good threads with tips and hints and stuff. The site is quite American in parts so you need to translate some stuff but it is still good!

hey cheery, I know I am super late, but I have only just caught up on your diary and I just wanted to say a huge WELL DONE and CONGRATULATIONS on finishing your PHD, bless you having such a rotten time handing it in. Sounds like you are having a lovely time now you have so much more time on your hands. As I have said many a time and I am sure I will say it again, you really are an inspiration!

Working at home today - and since I didn't get home from work til 10pm last night (which was planned) I didn't feel any great need to start at 9am this morning :D So I've been to my friend's for a cuppa :D Best get started now

Off for my first hair cut in 3 years tonight - wibble :D

Hope so, it's a bit of a straggly mess at the minute! I've been lopping the ends off myself, and while the front looks pretty alright, the back is atrocious (i can't see or reach that bit :rotfl: :rotfl:) :D I might even go all radical and get a fringe :D

Time for lunch I reckon, don't you??
  • Hope the haircut goes well Daffs - note of caution - a fringe would be quite high maintenance - if you, like me, aren't someone who will get around to regular hairdressers appointments, you might do better not to go for that!

I am hoping that my free appointment with a hair group salon comes through soon (qualified for it through a newsletter signup) as mine really needs doing - nothing dramatic there though, will just be a few inches off to return it to the shoulder length bob I prefer!
