well done for handing it in, even if it ended up being a saga and a half.

Well done for submitting! :T
Challenges....hmmmm....why not make a list of things you REALLY want to do/see/visit, and then set yourself a target to do at least X no of them by the end of the year? Then you could aim to do another X by the end of next year, and so on. Not strictly speaking money-ish, but as money would be required to do said things, it may well be that a budget etc is called for to enable it/🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Ooh, so exciting to be there to share the moment
But then I read a bit further and saw all the hoops they made you jump through today Cheery and it made me feel a bit sad for you, must have tarnished it a little
But a fab piccy of said thesis, beautifully bound, being delivered with fabby yellow welligogs and a lovely jubbly bright red scarf :TCheery_Daff wrote: »

Cheery, how brilliant is all this! Well done you. Oh my god, trapeze tho - you realise thats a spectator sport? We'll have to come watch2023: the year I get to buy a car0
-
I LOVE watching trapeze, and always wanted a go
And the circus school is actually only a couple of miles away, so no excuses really :rotfl: Although I'm also rather tempted by the acrobatics - always wanted to just be able to cartwheel and flip and jump around on the floor :rotfl: (might need to be a little less rotund though
)
Lovely day hereBlue skies, been to WI for fairy cakes, pottered round charity shops, booked myself into the hairdressers for Thursday - haven't had my hair cut (other than by myself :rotfl:) for more than 3 years! Went to the library and got lots of books about gardening and sewing and making pretty things
Eating pancakes made with last night's pizza toppings
Watching the blue tits in the garden. Mr Daffs is fixing fairy lights.
All is right with the world :j :j :j
I'm thinking an afternoon of pottering, a little sewing project or two, wellies on and out into the garden for a bit :T
Then tonight I'm off to a friend's gig at an anti-valentines event :rotfl: tears in jars, cupids in nooses, dinners for one.... then after that, a cocktail party
:j0 -
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
:money:Sleeves up folks.:money:0 -
Quite
Although perhaps  is more apt :rotfl:
Mr Daffs just unearthed a sack (literally!) of old printers type, letters on wooden blocks, all different sizes. Filled the entire kitchen floor when tipped out :rotfl: Enough for several projects I'd say! :T :T Very exciting living with a hoarder0 -
Now then.
I've hung a curtain/drape thing in the attic window, festooned with peacock feather and some little red flowers I made from some fabric (they don't *look* like flowers, but you get the impression :rotfl:). I've also started making a cheery noticeboard/inspiration board thing
And I've picked out my clothes for the cocktail party tonightVery limited selection of things that actually fit to choose from
:rotfl: Must get backside in gear! Altered a sparkly top a little so it shows a teensy bit of cleavage :rotfl:
And now the bath's run, so I'm going to hop in that, get dressed, hot foot it over to the gig for an hour or so, then trot over to the other side of town for cocktails (or rather to watch other people drinking cocktails, as I'll be driving :rotfl:). Mr Daffs isn't feeling well, so he's staying in, and since the gig is about 4 miles away, and the party about 4 miles in the opposite direction, if I don't drive I'll probably not get to either, never mind both! So tea it isFortunately gig is in a cafe/bookshop/cake shop so I'm laughing :rotfl: :rotfl:
