Ooh, good stuff Pippi! :T How exciting :T :T Can't wait til you've finished too :j :j Nearly there! :j :j0

I'm sorry but the phrase "planning the final breakdown" had me giggling (and you're lucky I didn't spurt coffee all over my nice new laptop
- you'd never hear the end of it)....
And Cheery, advanced knitting sounds fascinating - I have easy access to all my knitting stuff nowadays, and might even use it soon.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
It wasn't the knitting itself that was advanced, it was the speed I had to go at!
Anyway, took the arm warmers to the lady to be measured - and turns out she actually wanted them to join over the ends of her hands like socks :rotfl: But they weren't quite long enough to do that, so had to unstitch the seam, unravel the casting off (never done that before!), and knit a few more rows, and sew the entire thing back up again. Consequently I've only done 8 rows of the second one - although I know exactly what I'm doing now, and there's no decisions to make, so the race is on with that today! :T :T
Had a lovely evening :T Invited friend round for crafts, she couldn't come because she was going somewhere else for a craft evening :rotfl: so we all got together :T Someone had made food, absolutely gorgeous, then we sat round their wood stove and I knitted, and others did some darning, and made a rug, and someone played the guitar :j Very cheery altogether.
Made a complete fool of myself in tesco express thoughTried to pay the self service machine, put a tenner in, it just kept asking for money, obviously hadn't registered it. Had to call for assistance, queue building up and up behind me... Someone came over and couldn't figure it out, had to ring for the supervisor...
... who came over and said 'is that your tenner on the floor??':rotfl: :rotfl: Damn thing had shot straight back out of the machine again and I hadn't noticed :rotfl: :rotfl: Oh dear!
Anyway, busy busy today, best crack on! Will be squeezing a few rows of knitting in every time I finish a bit of a work project0 -

glad you found your tenner even if it was on the ground, in many places your local MSE womble would have have picked it up before it had chance to get comfortable. lol Good luck withe the knitting0

Good point LT! :T
Knitting is getting rather dull now I must confess :rotfl: :rotfl:
Told Mrs Woman I won't finish in time to take them round tonight, but would pop them round at 9 tomorrow morning. Cheeky woman asked me to pick her up some eggs on the way! :rotfl: :rotfl: Where's Pippi where you need her?
Right, kniting knitting knitting knitting knitting knitting :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
