AbsolutelyTaking it first thing in the morning :j :j
Long day at work, but got to go on a double decker bus out into the countryside this morning :j and went to a seminar about using art to disseminate the results of health research - all interesting stuff.
Not long got home though - very tired!
Knitting tonightPromised I'd knit old boss some arm warmers :rotfl: Only trouble is - she's going to the Arctic circle in Finland on Friday so needs them before then. And, er, her arms are rather big, so they're taking me longer than expected
So cr*p tv and knitting I think
Mr Daffs just texted to say we're now not going to Devon for the weekend, pah! However, this is good because:
* we don't have to spend 10 hours each way in a van
* I don't have to take Friday off work (there's lots to do so this will make the other days feel less busy, and I can save my holidays!)
* I can have a cheery free weekend at home doing knitting and gardening and things :j :j
* we can go the WI on Saturday :rotfl:
* we get to go on a local adventure :j :j
Right, best crack on I suppose! Tomorrow morning I want to run down and put PhD in the binders, and a million parcels to the post office, and then work work work!
Must also dig out my goals for the month too and make sure I actually get on with some of them :rotfl: But knitting first!0 -

Oh boo to no devon but yay to lovely things at home instead.
Was it one of your planned weekends away?
Mr stripes dutifully inspired by music chat that he's put up something locally to start a jam session when he's here - all down to your mr daffs and you nattering with him I thinkso thats good isn't it - very positive!
Thank you - he's been at a bit of a loose end when hes been here sometimes and this should spurn him on, dd also doing cello grade soon and wrote her first song in music with lyrics and now I think its recorded.
When a bit flusher off in the money dept we are getting the 'rustic' piano (with the mice) tuned again for herTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:

yay to DD writing a song, we'll have to have a preview of it.
I'm aiming to take piano lessons when things get a bit more wriggle room in them at this end.0 -
Ooh, exciting musical activities at your end Pippi! :j :j :j :j Mr Daffs is most impressed at cheery musical endeavours, and if it gives Mr Stripes something to do at your end, then so much the better! :j :j Hooray! :j :j
Nope, Devon wasn't one of our No Quibble Weekends - was a friend's 30th birthday, we were only going because someone had offered us a lift in their camper and they were going anyway - and now they're not. looking forward to pottering at home :T :T
Just been for a runAnd saw a flock of long tailed tits on the way home :j :j
