    How sensible to budget for 5 week months, may have to ponder that one and see if I can borrow the idea :D

    It is always better to over budget :) than under budget :eek:

    * I budget for 5 Mon-Sun weeks every month - some weeks there are only 4, so in the spare 5th week (7 of this in 2011!) the food, fun, buses and trains money (total of £98) will go into the ISA.

    OK Dr.Daffs 12 months x 5 weeks = 60 weeks where did the extra week go :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Only joking its an excellent idea I am just a maths geek :o

    Congratulations!

    And how lovely that the supervisor bought you a bottle of bubbly!

    That budget looks fantastic, and budgetting a 5 week month regularly and pushing stuff over to savings sounds a really good idea.

    Have a lovely, lovely weekend, Daffs, you deserve it.

    er....

    <gets calculator and diary out>

    er...

    Feb - 4 Mondays (well, ok, so 28th Feb is going into March because it's my first month and I want a bit of spending money :D)
    March - 5 weeks (see above :D)
    April - 4 weeks
    May - 5 weeks
    June - 4 weeks
    July - 4 weeks
    Aug - 5 weeks
    Sept - 4 weeks
    Oct - 5 weeks
    Nov - 4 weeks
    Dec - 4 weeks

    Which I make 7 months with only 4 weeks in until the end of the year :D (I'm not counting Jan, if that makes a difference :rotfl:)

    Been shopping today (yes in yellow wellies - well, it was absolutely tipping down all day :rotfl:)

    Bought king size dark red satin duvet cover/fitted sheet/pillow cases set still in packaging new from charity shop for £15 :j :j Also bought spare red sheet for £8 - so £23 from palace fund :j :j Just put it on bed, looks gorgeous :j :j

    Also bought 2 pairs of Elle McPhearson knickers (a red and a silver :rotfl:) for £5 from John Lewis :D:D And some gorgeously fancy stockings :D

    And bought 6 pairs of fancy knickers from Debenhams for £20 (3 for 2!) So underwear project is progressing nicely :D

    Also picked up some pens from Poundland :rotfl: and batteries, and assorted other dull things

    And treated Mr Daffs to tea and scone in a lovely little cafe :j :j :j

    Altogether had a thoroughly grand time :j :j And all within budget too :j :j (I had £40 Christmas money :D)

    Friend came round for a cuppa earlier, lovely to see her :j :j Another friend rang at ten to 5 asking if she could come round, but hasn't appeared yet and if she doesn't appear soon she'll be getting a text telling her not to bother, I wanted a Saturday night in with Mr Daffs! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Not opened champagne yet either :D

    What a fantastically cheery day you've had! I'm very envious of your bargains, I keep looking at new bedlinen but can't quite justify it - actually I've just thought - maybe I could dye one of our older sets? Hmmmm - must investigate that idea further! :D Knickers sound fab too - I was looking at some today too but they were Asda 3 for £5 so a sloightly different point in the budget! Did also try on two bras in there - they were only £6 each so I felt I had little to lose! They didn't fit though although I might go back in at some point and investigate other sizes. Sadly as a 36F my upperdeckerflappercheckers generally need to be substantially more expensive than that! :rotfl:

    Anyway, let me get this right, you have a bottle of champagne, racy undies, and a night in with Mr Daffs planned......?! :cool:

    Absolutely EH :D :rotfl: :rotfl: And two friends who are currently getting a text telling them that since they rang 3 hours ago asking if they could pop round 'sometime between "soon" and "in a bit"', and they're not here yet, and we haven't heard from them, we're now going out and they can't come round at all :rotfl: :rotfl: Not usually that antisocial, but honestly! Three hours! :rotfl:
  • Fnar Fnar...well have an enjoyable, evening, whatever you end up .....errr....doing, won't you! :D
