Go with what feels right Cheery. Maybe get the treats via Mr Daffs and then you could do a cheery adventure with him this afternoon to take a break. Always good to work when the mood takes you.

Actually... :rotfl: We both went :rotfl: But back now and about to start :D Also picked up some sparkly gold candles from charity shop, and some fruit :D

(and for the record, Mr Daffs and the WI mix very well :D)

Oh, and I went into the fruit shop on my own (divide and conquer and all that!) and the man asked where Mr Daffs was :rotfl: Obviously we're either very regular in our habits (we go in every Saturday), or we look very distinctive :rotfl: :rotfl:

I like to think that you look distinctive!

However when I worked in a fruit and veg shop (best job I ever had, first from leaving school) we got to know who was coming in and when. If the old dears didnt turn up Frank (the owner) would nip to their house to check on them.

I suspected as much cherisong :rotfl: I used to work in a newsagents and we had a similar experience (although the boss was a mean old bigot so he would never have been as nice as Frank! :rotfl:)

PhD robot activities not going as well as planned :o However, I now have a cuppa, a hot water bottle, I'm sat under my new patchwork quilt (really must take a photo soon!), and am going to turn the internet off (eek!) for an hour and see how much I can get done.

You are very focussed! Its so impressive!

And won't it be weird when there is no PhD to talk about?! You will have to talk about money again! Crazy stuff! :D

I'm sucking at doing revision again, had 2 exams last week and one more next... bleugh!

    Bleurgh indeed lotti!

Oh don't worry, I will have PLENTY to talk about when PhD is done :D I haven't talked about antyhing else for 7 years so plenty of time to catch up on :rotfl:

Stopping for the evening now. I've got 5500 words in my conclusions, and at least something in every section. I've also finished editing chapters 7 and 8, so the final final draft version now has chapters 2,6,7 and 8 in - 38,000 words. <yawn>

Tomorrow is going to be ludicrous - have to finish conclusions and send to supervisors, edit chapters 3, 4 and 5, write a new introduction, chnge the abstract, deal with all the stupid formatting issues, make sure I haven't missed out any refs (I'm pretty good about that!), a new contents page (hopefully with all the numbers in line this time :o :rotfl:) blah blah blah!

Now, however, I am going to Tescos for treats, then I'm going to watch a film with Mr Daffs :D Perhaps not the most productive use of time, but I'm tired, and hungry, and no good ever came of working when you feel like this! :T
