Nope, sadly, the only people who are actually allowed to watch the film are me, the person who will be filming, and the boss, so unlikely to lead to fame and glory :rotfl: :D

Good plan Cheery, you need to rest as well. A bath is a good place to get all your thoughts in order. Just ask DT!

Re the videoing, I do that for work all the time now. In the beginning I was a nervous wreck. I do both the videoing and being interviewed (have appeared on News at 6 in Wales once and other bits several times - hate it hate it hate it). If you are being videod then try to ignore the camera. If you are doing the interviewing and people are nervous I have found that by setting the video up next to me and sitting opposite them then just chatting and throwing the questions in gets the person to relax more. Might be difficult if they are signing and need to face the camera though. We use flip cameras in work. They are tiny and can be set up on a little tripod. They take top quality videos and we use the footage for tv streaming. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Flip-Video-Definition-Camcorder-Memory/dp/B0029U29A8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1295815972&sr=8-1 like this. If it isnt what you use now I would recommend them and perhaps you could ask for one.

Wow - Daffs, somehow it had slipped by me just how close you now are to finishing the thing! I'd not realised that it really is imminent now - big well dones to you!

A bath is in order here shortly too - I think it's a nice Sunday night thing to do. Good and relaxing and a good way to set up for the working week.

Hope your interviewing thing goes well tomorrow!

Wow! Thats a great little camera, I love it! When I'm trading, and have nothing to do except set up my green website, I'll have a go at this!

:rotfl: at the robot food! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks for the tips Cheri! That camera looks rather nifty :T However, we have several already and I suspect I am not important enough to demand another one :D :rotfl: Ours would have been perfectly adequate if two of the 3 disks we bought hadn't have gone wrong somehow!

Anyway, absolutely bl**dy exhausting day, being actually filmed was the least of my worries, didn't think about it AT ALL in all the kerfuffle of trying to find someone who wanted to talk to us, talking to people would couldn't actually speak, people indicating no when the support worker knew they meant the opposite, people's electronic communication aids being broken etc etc etc.

Today has been a learning curve comparable with the north face of the Eiger :rotfl:

Couple of hours of PhD on the train on the way home (goodness only knows how!) and I've just emailed conclusions over to supervisors. Not entirely finished, but there's really no way I can do anything else tonight, I'm entirely worn out.

Working at home tomorrow, and then toddling off to interview someone with dementia tomorrow afternoon (fortunately don't have a 6 hour round trip on the train for this one!). Then more phd in the evening <yawn> Think I just need to go to sleep now! (after a quick toddle round the diaries, of course, and another cuppa or several!)

No problem Cheery, keep it in mind if you have further problems with discs and things. Nothing is required in the flip cameras. Well done on getting the conclusions off. Even if there is still a little to do that is a really big step.
Sleep well and have a lie in tomorrow.

Wow, Cheery what a busy day and well done on achieving so much. I don't think I've got your willpower, after a day at work like that I'm sure I would have been reading Heat magazine and trying to chill out!

So huge respect for you doing your PhD!
I've got my own flat :j:j
