Thanks you lovely lot :T Met workmate at the train station yesterday and she'd got me a card saying 'it's a beautiful day' on the front, and 'and Cheery's nearly finished her PhD! Well done!' :j :j (we've had emails round every Monday morning for the last few weeks at work announcing an engagement, or a pregnancy or something, and those of us who are unlikely to have either were starting to feel a little left out! :rotfl:)

So, up and in front of the computer already, lots to do today! Have a good one all. Working at home this morning so will be popping in and out hopefully! :T

Those pesky hens had hidden a nest with 12 eggs in it - how naughty!!

Luckily I checked all the hidey holes on saturday so I know the eggs are OK.

Now then. Back from interviewing, which took all afternoon, another steep learning curve, but more enjoyable than yesterday, and certainly more relaxing. And a trip home on the top of a double decker bus! :T :T Always good fun

Had tea, got a cuppa, and Mr Daffs has popped out for a bit, so I've got probably about 3 hours before I get too tired to do anything useful. I'm going to sit down with PhD and get as much editing and little things done as I possibly can, so when I come back to supervisors comments on my conclusions, that's the ONLY thing I've got left to do. Until then, I'm not even opening email, because I know I'll only get disheartened!

So, the race is on! :T

(oh, and I'd quite like a bath later please if the powers that be decree it!) Got to go into the office tomorrow and Thursday, so early morning tomorrow, so need bag packed and ready too.
