It WILL get to you at some point soon, I promise!

Messed around and avoided things for an hour
Very nearly wimped out of conclusions and did some editing instead
but forced myself to just do half an hour - and did an hour and a half
I *think* I'm further on than I was, but it's difficult to know! :rotfl: :rotfl:
Still awake, so going to do a bit of editing now <yawn>0 -
Morning! :j :j
Gorgeously sunny here
I've managed 8 hours sleep, and toast with pineapple curd and malibu (in the pineapple curd, not just a glug from the bottle!) for breakfast
Off up into the attic to do work now - working at home all day, PhD in the evening, this is getting a little tedious, but just think how EASY full time work will feel when I don't have to write in the evening too! :j :j :j I think these couple of weeks have been given to me so I don't have to complain about how difficult it is to work full time :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Now thats what I call being positive! good for you - you certainly deserve malibu for breakfast for that

I'm so impressed by how you're fitting in PhD with full time work! It will be so lovely when you're finished and can relax a bit - any plans for how you're going to spend the extra time?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Lots of plans
Mostly involving things like gardening and sewing and baking and days out and a bit of voluntary work and cups of tea and more pancakes and visiting people I haven't seen for a while

Sounds like an excellent breakfast preserve to me! Well, people have marmalade with whisky don't they!
Very jealous of your sunny weather - it was grey and dreary here all day - I was hoping to get some eBay photos done but just too bad light unless I wanted to do it outside. Which I didn't.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Quite right too EH
Stop inside when the weather's grey
I popped out to the shops at lunch time, it was glorious!
Had a productive morning's work, and a slightly less productive afternoon's arguing with compatibility software :rotfl: :rotfl: Still, if it's worked (and I'm not entirely convinced it has), it'll be worth it.
Have to stop now though and have something to eat, and resume calm mode, ready for a couple of hours of PhD <yawn> Then a shower and early night, I'm on the train to Blackpool at 8.45 in the morning
(although given that I usually catch a train to work at 7.12, this seems like a lie in! :rotfl:) 0 -
pinapple curd sounds yummy, i love lemon curd and pinapple jam. I wonder how you make pinapple curd, not that i've made either of the former before anyway.0
-
Same way as lemon curd I suspect, although I'm not sure about that either :rotfl: I suspect it involves quite a lot of butter??! Not going to enquire too much

Stopping for the evening now
After being a bit gloomy about it at 9pm, I pulled my socks up and have myself a quick slap (oh, and Mr Daffs turned up with a cuppa and a Christmas cracker for me to pull :rotfl:), and set the timer for 15 minutes to just do some free writing about what needs to go into the conclusions. It's surprising how well that works for me! I think I'm pretty much there with the structure and content now - just need to write it :rotfl: Well, there's 9000+ words in there, so it must all actually be written already, just need to encourage the words into the right order - somewhat like herding cats I suspect :rotfl:
Anyway, just jumping in the second hand bath water to wash my hair (very MSE :rotfl:) then I'm all set! :T :T
What wolud I do without this place to waffle on?! Can't wait for the day when I get time to talk about money again :rotfl:0 -

Daffs, WHERE did you get a boyfriend like that? I want one! :rotfl:
I take it that was just a left over cracker from Christmas and that he doesn't just have a random selection for the year where he goes and gets one whenever you look down and need a laugh?
That's so funny and sweet.
