I took out 10 barcharts with twiddly standard error of the mean bars and bit my tongue when I got told to change alot of things which took me a couple of months to do.
Now my poor thesis is now only beseiged with tables and nothing lovely and visual and informative.

Looking forward to seeing your pictures Cheery. I posted some up too over in my land.
Pippi, I dont know what to say to your post. Months of work just cut? Just like that. Oh boy am I a glad I have never had to go through what you and Cheery are dealing with. You are both very strong individuals. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Another one here that loses her appetite when she gets worked up - I can lose half a stone in an unsettling week

My big sister on the other hand eats when she is happy, eats when she is sad, eats when she is upset..... The only time she doesn't think about food is when everything is going swimmingly :rotfl:
So at last I have found something good about not going on to Uni, these thesisisisis (not sure what the plural is but that will do :rotfl:) seem mighty hard work. Hang in there Pippi and Cheery, after all this work you are so close to the end and it really isn't worth giving up now.

They really do, don't they. I went to Uni, but never had to do a thesis .... it sounds dreadful! Mind you, Cheery, cheese and mushroom pancakes fill a hole in the world, don't they
Hope you're getting on well today.

Just got up :rotfl: after breakfast anda nice chat in bed
And it's snowing! And I said I'd be at my supervisor's house to pick up some stuff at 10am :rotfl: Boots on then, fortunately she only lives round the corner!
Everything seems more exciting in the snow
(now that I don't have 600 miles to drive that is! :rotfl:)

Morning Cheery, glad to hear you did get your comments, and I hope you can see an end in sight now!
I also love the idea of your little book to help with goals - I always feel a bit silly writing things down like that, but it does help to work things out. I've got my eye on a few nice notebooks in Wilkinsons for various things, so might have to designate one for that sort of thing!

Yep, a notebook is the way to go! You have to not show it to anyone though
Mine often says things like 'come on then young lady, pull yourself together. What are you going to do about this?' :rotfl: :rotfl:
Had cuppa with supervisor, then friend, then Mr Daffs, pancakes for lunch, a new honeybush and lavender tea, and bought myself a blue sparkly cardigan for £3.49 from the charity shop :rotfl: so a productive morning, but not entirely in the way I'd planned :rotfl:0 -
Right, that's me stopping for the evening :T :T Got off to a shakey start today, but redeemed myself (a little :rotfl:) in the last hour or two :T So all is not lost

WI and wellies in the morning :T :T But first tea and talking
