Happy New Year Daffs! Is the day slow, or are you and Mr Daffs slow :rotfl:
Hope there's no horizontal precipitation up there.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

It's us that's a bit slow KC! :rotfl:
LT - perhaps a holiday at home?? pippi had a great idea recently about having a local adventure - is there somewhere close by you've never been??
took a little wander down to the beach today, but it was so fridgey cold we came straight back for a cuppa :rotfl: Adventures indeed :rotfl: Just spotted the world's biggest bunny digging up Pippi's flowerbeds  (honestly, I'm surprised she ever manages to grow anything what with the bunnies and the chickens pecking at everything in sight!!)
Some horizontal weather here today - in fact, I sat in the living room for 2 hours earlier, and in that time the sun was shining, there was a hail storm, it absolutely p*ssed down, it was so windy, then five minutes later there was no wind at all, I couldn't see the sea for the fog, then ten minutes later I could see for miles, then it started snowing, then the sun came out again! :rotfl: :rotfl: Certainly varied! :rotfl:
Pippi's back tomorrow :j :j :j And I think we'll be leaving Tuesday morning (or Monday morning if she'd rather have her house back sooner for her and the stripey kids!)

Thanks Lotti! More :coffee: today I think :rotfl:
Well, after this morning's forray to the chickens, we had THIRTY eggs in the fridge  :rotfl: :rotfl: So I had pancakes for breakfast
I just *had* to, you see, really eggy ones, so that used up 3
Mr Daffs had 2 scrambled eggs, so that's 5 we managed together
I'm thinking fried eggs for lunch, and omelette for tea??
Pippi's back tonight, don't want her thinking we don't like her eggs! :rotfl: :rotfl: (my guess is there'll still be at least 20 in the fridge, so she won't starve! :rotfl:)
Not much on the cards today - pottering, a walk to the beach (well wrapped up), a nice bath, and some tidying up and perhaps a little baking for when Pippi gets back :j :j :j leaving on Tuesday morning, all a bit sad, feel like I live here now!
