I thought you had, but I also thought I was going a bit barmy, so didn't post, oops. It all has to be adapted to each year, of course - I do like the sound of the way you do it, categories and timetables - I think I'll read that over during lunch.

And you have a bus service into town that you could catch? Brilliant! Have a nice afternoon snuggling.

I'm not sure you could call it a 'bus service' - it's one bus into town at 10.10am, and one bus back out again at 12.40 :rotfl: Goes from the end of the track though :D

(there's another one every hour, but you have to walk 45 mins each way to catch that one...)

As for goals and things, I just read somewhere that having one month, 3 month and 6 month goals lets you see the longer term thing, while also having something closer to hand to aim for. So at the beginning of Jan I set up goals for end of Jan, end of March, and end of June. Then at the beginning of feb I look at the March/June ones, plus what I didn't do from Jan, and set up Feb goals. At the beginning of March, I check where I am on the March/June goals, and what I missed from Jan/Feb (if anything :rotfl:), and set March ones.

At the end of March, I re-set 3 month ones for the end of June, and 6 month ones for the end of Sept.

Does that make sense?! :D Works for me, although the goals at the end didn't seem to look much like the goals at the beginning! :rotfl:

It makes lots of sense, thanks Cheery - I've just had my 2nd cup of coffee of the day, and want to fiddle about with that instead of churning through pages of stuff to buy (I abandoned lakeland, and am currently up to £36 on wilkinsons - storage boxes, one of those kalaidoscope (sp?) steamers, all sorts of stuff. But I'd rather be looking at my goals.

I'd say that is rather virtuous :)

I have tried out that 3 tiered thing today, where you have a few things you must do, and if you get those done you do a few more, then a few things you almost never get round to. I only did the top tier though but I do feel quite ill so hoping I will get better at it!!

    Sounds good VL! :T

    How's the plan going KC?

I daftly went to bed at 10pm last night, so been lying awake since twenty to seven :rotfl: All still pitch black here and Mr Daffs still fast asleep, so ideal time to mooch about the forums I thought :D

Going on An Adventure today :j :j :j (hope I'm not too tired having got up this early :rotfl:) Still can't start Pippi's camper van :o but we did find a couple of bikes in the shed, so after a little pumping of tyres and twidling of knobs and a test drive, we're set for a little bike ride :D Not a very long one - but they don't half make getting down the long straight roads a bit more of a doddle than walking! :j :j :j

(and more refining of goals for me too - still not sure of my categories, and not sure what's going in which one)

Also need to plan when to go home!

Right, done some mooching about with trains/ferry times :T

Also checked out the £9 travelodge sale for going to London with my mum in Feb/March time - no luck sadly, nothing under £29, and certainly not for two nights in a row, and certainly not at the weekend! (and if we're paying more than that I'd rather stay somewhere more exciting than a travelodge! :rotfl:)

So - anybody know where to go? Pippi - what was that hotel you stayed in? I remember looking at the time, but it was £180 a night  how did you get it for £30??!

Anyway, been sucked into planning the next holiday while I'm still on this one! :rotfl: So - I'm going to close the computer down now, it's just about starting to get light, I can hear the cockerel shouting about breakfast, and there's adventures to be had today! :T :T

Cheery, try the Premier Lodge site as well. They have a sale on soon. There is a lovely on right next to the Globe at Southwark. Short walk to the Eye etc.
I am also hoping to visit london in February with my Ex MIL (now my best friend and saviour when in need) as she deserves a little treat.
