    Heard anything yet Lotti?

    I'm not doing very well :o Haven't got anything new to cross off my list! :o Did just have a fortifying smoked cheese, (reduced) watercress and mushroom pancake though, and a piece of yesterday's cake :D

    Back to it I suppose <yawn>

    Yes, he said ok, wanted to see me next week but I will have already gone down south for Christmas so it'll have to wait until after new year. So that's good! :j BUT need to get some proper plans down to send to him now, on top of 4 assignments still to finish before Thursday :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    Now, Cheery, what are you shouting about?

    Thanks KC :D That little dance troupe put a smile on my face :D

    (in fact, right this minute, it's not the PhD making me scream :rotfl: although it's certainly not helping!)

    About to ring the garage too, to see what the damage is to the car... wish me luck....

    Good news then Lotti! Lots to do before Christmas then :eek:

    Just spoke to garage. Something wrong with air flow meter apparently, they've ordered one and will fit it tomorrow. We'll also need a tyre 'at some point'. So not sure on cost yet, depends how much part is (about £45 he reckons). So that, plus mini service, plus a bit of plastic replaced that fell off the front a while back, no more than £150 I reckon?? (and I'd certainly hope not that much, unless they've replaced the tyre too). Not too bad I suppose. Bloody cars.

    <yawn>

    At least I don't have to go and get it today!

    was about to ask what all the noise was about but see it is resolved.

    Glad that the car is sorted. Looks promising for you to get up to Orkney?

    Car's looking like it'll get us there cherisong, thank goodness! :T Trying to avoid those nasty weather forecasters telling us it's going to snow again... :eek:

    Frustrated temper throwing has abated for a while (virtually and in real life), thank goodness. Just about to have a cuppa :D :coffee:

    Ha, I refuse to believe the weather forecasters, they have clearly got carried away with the snow and are coming out with all sorts!

    Hope you're feeling more on top of things now.

    Smoked cheese - yum!
