* put everything in one document - going to wait to do this until more things are finalised, however satisfying it would be!

So, we're getting there <yawn> Fed up today! Might do an initial mind map of chapter 1 while Mr Daffs makes tea, sort anagrams, and then sort Christmas cards (and maybe presents, but maybe not), and then a nice bath, and settle in with the curtain linings :rotfl:
Tomorrow's another busy-ish one.

my OH thought i was strange (er than usual) when he caught me giggling about the drunken spaniel. Actually as i'm still recovering it sounded more like a 60 fags a day habit rather than a laugh0

You're right though I do love pottering about doing lots of different things - one of the very reasons I was looking forward so much to working part time once the PhD was done - oops! But I'm still very much looking forward to being able to spend my evenings and weekends however I like
and I'm fully intending to take ALL of my 38 days holiday (38 days?!!), and to spend plenty of it pottering about

Well, I'm up and in a positive mood today :j :j :j
Sent chapters 9 and 10 (or what I'd done of them at least) to supervisors yesterday afternoon. Just got up to a couple of emails:
Supervisor 1 got knocked off his bike by a car on Friday, has been on holiday ever since, and needs time to go to the police. Also hasn't read my chapters (or presumably the 4 full chapters I sent a couple of weeks ago), and the space he had in diary this morning has been filled by departmental meeting postponed because of the snow
Supervisor 2 also hasn't read chapters, and can only meet on Thursday, unless we want to meet at her house with 3 children on Friday.
Sadly, I am in London tomorrow, and working Thursday/Friday, so looks like it's postponed til after Christmas! Can't say I'm impressed, but there we are, I'm not exactly an exemplary student sometimes - although I would have thought they'd realise they weren't going to read stuff before 9pm last night and let me know...
Ah well, gives me more time for other stuff :T :T

Ok - supervision back on - apparently main supervisor away from next week until the 23rd January!!
