LT, I'm sure yours are perfectly cosy - all that fur, after all! And they do live outside in the wild :D

Darn internet connection playing up - not the best since I'm working on things that need to be saved onto work server, and it keeps dropping the connection... Remarkably calm about it actually - I think it's because I actually *can't* do anything about this so there's no point worrying about it! :rotfl:

Nice excuse for a cuppa while it messes about :coffee:

  • Hello all back home car up at the top of the track

Cheery check out the flybe site alot (remember quidco) the prices change with the click of a button - literally - we keep clickign until we get a decent price!

Aren't guinea pigs native to chile, peru or central america - they'll be use to the cold

Um sorry to be a pest the company who fly here are flybe - there fore you can fly from where you are?

My london/orkney flight was 10.99 (alot more with taxes)

therefore you can probably do a central england flight and it might be cheaper - I know its a last resort

    Thanks Pippi :T

At the minute I'm not even going to think about it :o Far too busy worrying that the internet has been playing up all afternoon, and I now can't connect to the work server to save what I've done earlier  How tedious <yawn>

But I'm SO wound up now though :( Might need to have 15 minutes out with a hot chocolate before I burst into tears! :(

Good grief, it's actually worked! :j :j :j An hour of staring and stomping and deep breathing, and I finally post on here to complain, and the damn thing actually works! (might be because the internet's now working :rotfl:)

    Bloody thing.

Still going to have a hot chocolate though :D

Oh Cheery, if you are going to be working from home this is something that you really have to get used to and learn not to let it wind you up. I speak from 2 years worth of experience and many tantrums and tears and panic. I am always losing connection to the works server. I tend to save everything as I go along and then transfer to the server when I can. It is very frustrating.

Love the you tube links. The GPs are so funny stealing that cucumber off each other. I couldnt stop laughing at the cats. I might post that onto my facebook page. Thanks ladies for making me smile as always.

I know I have to get used to it cherisong! Part of the problem is that a lot of the stuff I work on is VERY confidential, and so I'm not allowed to save it to home computer (in case of yet another laptop-on-train scandal!), it has to go straight to work server...

When I'm working on my own stuff, I automatically press save every 30 seconds or so (using the keys, not the mouse), it's just a reflex action, and it's got me out of a few sticky spots in the past! However, with this, it takes a couple of minutes to save to the work server, so if I did it every 30 seconds I'd never get anything done! :rotfl: Compromising on every 15 minutes this afternoon (I was doing every hour this morning!) - that way I only lose 15 minutes of work if it doesn't work...

    We'll get there!
