I was wondering about not licking bowls too cherisong :rotfl: I never did grow out of it :D Although haven't quite gone to the lengths of my sister, who used to make cake mix purely to eat - with no intention of baking any of it

So - In the last hour I've rewritten more than half of Chapter 8 :T Just goes to show what you can do when you put your mind to it - there really isn't that much to be done, just some reorganisation and some rewriting of bits and new introductions/conclusions etc. Kind of wonder what I've been faffing about at all day really :rotfl:

I also remembered something from MG's course - about working more effectively at the beginnings and ends of study sessions - which is why she recommends lots of breaks - lots of beginnings and ends... The last couple of days have just morphed into one long session of being sat in front of the computer not doing very much - just like I used to do in the bad old days - so tomorrow I'm going to get out of that, and sit down for a set amount of time, then stop for a proper break. I *know* I work more effectively like that!

But now I'd best go and have a shower, not had one since Monday night (well, there's only been me here, and it's too cold to get undressed :rotfl:)...

    :D

    Hello hello

Just catching up on the lasst couple of days. I do like the snow but problem is I live about 30 mins walk from work so if it snows it just means I can't ride my bike to work and have to slip slide my way in instead :(

Sounds like you're doing well on phd stuff! Keep up the good work!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

    Aw nice :)

As long as it's just the snow coming off the roof - our gutter fell off yesterday!

There are some amazing icicles out there, would make some great pics :D

There were a few dangerous looking icicles out on the shops this morning -

Didn't manage to take any pics though :(

However, I'm having a rather frustrating afternoon for reasons best not gone into on here, so am planning a little walk in the sunshine, and I'll take my camera and go the pretty way :D

I was planning to get to a certain stage of work first, but I'm so wound up that I think it'd be more productive to walk it off, then come back a bit more relaxed! :o Back downstairs to put my shoes on then... :o

Oh dear, hope the walk helps - have a good stomp!

I have taken some photos of the snow, none of the icicles yet.. I might pop one or two on the photo thread (which I hadn't spotted before, so thanks EH!)

    Now then.

Been for a nice walk, but missed the best of the sunshine sadly, so my photos are all a bit dreary :( Did take a couple of close up ones of roses entirely encased in ice in the garden - and we seem to have the world's biggest icicle hanging over our front door (which I'd not noticed before - we use the back door!), so will try to get a picture of that tomorrow.

Signed up to photobucket, but still don't seem to be able to get photos on the forum - any clues as to what I'm doing wrong??
