<lobs another snowball up north, and a few more down south for good measure>

My phone is very ordinary, cost £30, the cheapest pay as you go one I could get, then I got a sim only 12 month contract. Worked out much cheaper that way! Theoretically does internet, but I've not tried, and it's probably not complex enough for what you want it for KC! Sorry, that's no use!

Escaped out into the snow for provisions :D Had a lovely time tramping about :D Just scoffing lunch, then back up to the attic to actually get on with something useful..
  • Hope today has been good - love the look of your 'work' :) very pretty, even if you were'nt supposed to be in!

Today's been good thanks! Got a tricky IT related thing sorted out this morning :T and some other little bits done :T

Had a few difficulties motivating myself this afternoon :o And managed somehow to have a 2 hour break this morning  (did include lunch though, and I worked late to make up for it). Will have to work on time management for when I'm working at home in the new year though...

Been out this evening to Al Anon - snowing really quite heavily now, and my footprints were completely covered after being in the meeting for an hour  In with hot water bottle and hot chocolate now - the only sensible place! Looks very pretty out there though :j :j

PhD tomorrow - and the plan is to get up earlyish and make a decent start - 4 hours before lunch, and preferably some more in the afternoon. I'd like to finish off Chapters 7 and 8 tomorrow, so I can send 5,6,7 and 8 to supervisors altogether at the end of the day. That's going to require some work! But I think I'm up to the challenge... :j :j

sounds like you're doing really well if you're planning on sending so many chapters at once to your supervisor.

It does feel like that :D These are all the analysis chapters, they didn't need too much doing to them, and it made sense to get them all out of the way in one chunk. They'll only need to skim read them - then I have to move on to writing a new (quite short) chapter, and redoing the conclusions. That's the important bit - which is why I need to get these four less important ones out of the way really quickly - I'm dragging it out, which is reducing the time I've got left to spend on the more important conclusions chapter... :o So need to set a strict deadline and pull my finger out!

Well, a snowy morning here! :T Great for me because I have absolutely nowhere to be other than at my desk :D And I can justify sneaking out later for a stomp about in the snow :D

Few little things to do over and above PhD today - must ring the garage, take some photos :D, and sort out the washing (realised I left it in the machine last night - oops!). Also want to pop out to the shops, and make some bread, and Shred!

First though - head down for chapter 7

Morning! Be careful where you stomp, I fell out of the front door into knee high snow this morning :rotfl:

Hope it all goes well today - keep cosy :D
