Just had email confirming that only my internal examiner will be reading my revised thesis - hooray! :j :j
And I got a good hour or so of work on it done on the train in this morning :j :j
And someone's brought in cake for coffee time :j :j
So the day's shaping up nicely! :rotfl:
It was, but it stopped just after 9, once everyone had got to work in it
Good news all round there! :TDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
And now they're talking about cancelling tomorrow's event, which means I'll be able to work from home - saving me £12 and several hours of faffing! Fingers crossed, will find out later...
Right - work0 -
Wow - thats quite a day you're having - its still snowless here, and bright blue sky, very odd when the rest of the country is suffering so much!

:rotfl: KC, that's pretty much what I looked like this morning on the way in!
It was very festive, trudging through the snow, with it wafting all around and settling on my hair - and the darn chocolate factory was producing something VERY tasty with the smell of chocolate wafting through the air too - absolutely agonising I tell you! :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

I must confess to having got not very much done today! But I am working from home tomorrow
Which will start by trying to access the work server - which might quite possibly take all day... Have saved several little tasks I can be getting on with tomorrow in case it doesn't work!
Goodness knows where today has gone though. Struggle working on my own, normally there's someone else to run those little questions past 'what shall I say?' 'what happens if...?' but today I'm having to figure them all out by myself :rotfl:
Going to treat myself to 15 minutes office tidying as a reward for writing a difficult email in a minute :rotfl:0 -
I'm the same - I've done a bit of 'stuff' - and now I'm tidying my seeds and envelopes - lol.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

I think, in this kind of weather, its such an effort to just "get around", that work sort of loses its importance ..... I know that my work on the accounts was done in the morning, before I stepped out of the door - no way would I do anything at all now, except a bit of tidying while the kettle boils - and thats only a journey of three quarters of an hour! I'm nesh. I'll get me coat2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Make sure you get a scarf too KC!
Made it home - train cancelled but I managed to get the one several ones before it that was running an hour late :rotfl: Quite empty, everyone else obviously sensibly went home early! Glad I don't have to bother tomorrow though
Funny, there's not much snow at home at all!0
