No idea, I had a c-section, and will be having another one so have no idea. If I had been having a natural delivery I think water births sound pretty good, although if you do poo in the water, that might be a bit yucky, on the plus side. If you wee, you won't know!!!!!Oh....I'm not going to lie to you......At the end of the day, when alls said and done......do you know what I mean.........TIDY0

When my friend had her son, she had to have stiches and her husband asked the doctor who did them....'If I pay you, can you put some extra in'Oh....I'm not going to lie to you......At the end of the day, when alls said and done......do you know what I mean.........TIDY0

I'm due my fourth baby tomorrow. I have read through this and Becles' post has been the birth experience that I found most extraordinary with all of my previous babies. Where do they find this stick-thin, perfectly groomed, super-attractive woman when throughout each pregnancy all the professionals I attended were kindoff, well, matronly? You don't know whether to laugh at the woman or tell her to get to france basically!!! I hope to get home early to miss the contraception lecture this time but if I'm still in and she sashays into the room for the "you're now at your most fertile, ladies" talk, I think I will point out that while you lie on the bed, oozing from every orifice known to man and resembling Jaba the Hut that you actually have hee-haw chance of a sh*g anyway so she may as well save her breath!!! Thanks for the chance to rant - hope I didn't offend any stick-thin health professionals too much!!0

Nobody warned me that sometimes stretchmarks appear right at the end of pregnancy. I thought I'd got away without. Then they bled, little pin!!!!!s all along them. I thought my skin was going to burst open!May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

I had two sections but was in labour first with both. Very painful, etc, except they weren't "conractions" they were just "tightenings". Thanks midwives, that would explain why I was crying with pain every two minutes. And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0 -
the pooing in labour/delivery was a major shock for me!!so were the size of the episiotomy scissors!!  "You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

I think this thread should have had a warning associated with it :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:.....I wanted children, I thought I wanted children, I don't think so now.....it was the injection in the bum that killed it....interstingly I knew I'd have to have one, but Becles you're the first person to say how and when - thank you!!!
My legs are firmly crossed right now....

You lot are all wimps
But then I love pregnancy and birth and everything that goes with it.
I had sciatica, SPD and hyperemesis gravidarum, to name a few nice things that happened to me, but you know what the best secret was?
The orgasms I used to have in my sleep, I would have them everynight, it was fab :j I had read that it can happen while pregnant, but for it to actually be true was amazing. I would wake up at the end of each one, flushed, happy and feeling great. I woke up everyday with a spring in my step. I miss itWork like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0
