I was like a dairy cow. When I was having kids they kept you in for over a week even if you were fine. If they knew you were feeding they asked you to donate milk to the special care unit (well who would say no?) so as soon as you had fed your own baby you took yourself off the to milking parlour. They put you on a breast pumb and your tits assume you are feeding a dozen babies and react accordingly.0 -

Yes, It gets your figure back quickly. You do know that everyone is empty for a day or two don’t you? You must not give the baby a bottle during those two days because s/he will not suckle on you and your body will think it does not need to produce milk. There is a book written by Penny and Andrew Stanway that is very good and explains a lot.0

Just come across this thread by accident (honest!) I'm not surprised by woman who want children, but after reading some comments here regarding pain and suffering, wonder why you repeat the experience? Do you like pain or have you got short memories! lol0

It does hurt sometimes but you soon forget it and the baby makes it worthwhile. Don't go by what it looks like because you could look at someone having an orgasm and you would think they were in agony. If it was awful women would not have more than one but we do.0 -
I just wanted to say to elisebutt65 - that really is an awful story about your ex's girlfriend. I hope things turn out ok for all of you.0
