I still wince when I think about the egg collection <if there's a next time I'm demanding better sedation!> but it wouldn't prevent me from going through it againThe IVF worked;DS born 2006.0 -
Oh, and something completely random that I don't think anyone else has written about?I had problems brushing my teeth for the full 2 mins from being about 3 months pg -I kept gagging, eyes watering, etc I'd take a break and try another section of my mouth. This was still an issue until DS was over 2?!The IVF worked;DS born 2006.0

i was EXACTLY the same.......glad it wasn't jsut me. even water made me sick (when brushing - yet i could drink it no problems!!).
Luckily tho i did regain my ability to brush my teeth once DS was born.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

Now brushing my teeth was the only thing that stopped my morning sickness! It took a while to get the toothbrush in but once it was I was OK. How strange!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

OMG you are so right! I was in agony after having my second child. For the first few days I would be sobbing with the pain, which of course is even worse when breastfeeding. Id end up taking paracetamol and codine before the feed was due as I knew I was expecting more labour pains!0 -

i didnt know that either... found out the bloody scary way!
made worse of course by the fact that i couldnt see him either... OH could but was so over whelmed by the whole thing he didnt notice the urgency in my voice when i asked if he could see him - (as in is there a problem, what are they doing, is our son ok?)
it seemed like forever til i heard him and then when they put him infront of me he looked TINY... i said that he was much smaller than his sister had been when as it turned out he was more than a pound heavier!
pregnancy does not agree with me one bit, it makes me sick, tired and ropey feeling for the whole thing.... but against my better judgement im going to do it just one more time (damn persuasive OH)
and then im going to get sewn up!0 -
I had my DS when I was 19, and had a really easy pregnancy, put on a stone, had a planned section 2 weeks early, breast fed and lost the weight in a few months.
Had DD a few years later, again easy pregnancy, no problems and a planned section, but I got varicose veins! Horribe and they really hurt!£100 - £10,0000
