Jean - Definitely not the paint fumes. Had the sore throat/head prior to sniffles/sneezes and cough.

Still a bit sniffly, going through the tissues at a rate of knots - should have shares in the blimmin company - but the cough is slackening now.

Sandra THE secretary was on the phone earlier wondering if I`ll be fit for next week. Agreed that the best part of this next week will probably see it gone. So full details will be in the post tonight _pale_.

Is your order coming straight to france or via DWS ?
Gave in and tried the chick pattern with the lace. Came out looking like the photo, a head on top of a nest of frills but the one she had in the shop looked different. Think she must have tweaked it a bit but forgotten to change the pattern  I can visualise how to do it to improve it but am not just in the mood to mess about with it just now.

Can`t see this kitchen being finished before I go into hospital now. Grumpy has too many `bits` to do and not enough hours to do it in. Pity he didn`t ask for the whole week off not just a couple of days :(
Well, the coffee break is over so I`d better get back to it.

    Back later.

I think the tin with the squares isn't locked in the cupboard with the big padlock - I believe that its buried under 10 foot of earth in a treasure chest - a JCB was borrowed to facilitate this - and it had to be SPORTY ONE who got to hide them, so no chance of CHALKY (or even me) getting near them!
Ye all have a terrific day - with loads of love and cuddles......go on have a dance around the room. PSSO slowly for you - hope the jollup meds worked.

're jollup meds -Nope,sadly not last night. Could have made the film sleepless in Aberdeen. Awake most of the night as brain wouldn't shut down so will probably fall asleep as soon as bum hits a seat. Good thing was I finished my book and did another hedge. Trip to library later....or maybe tomorrow.

Retail therapy today, new curtains and replenish freezer stocks. Only one pizza left,Grumpy will go on strike!! Mind you, there wasn't much done in the kitchen last night,he sat and watched that spaceship programme.

    Back later.

Pippa did you have a good time? Gosh you are organised, I always leave the cases out with bits in for days :D

    Psso hope you sleep tonight.

Chalky hope you are having a fab time with the family. I had a bag of marshmallows and was hoping to make something but OH ate them!

Has anyone an idea what I can do with some Rico pompom - the small pompom - that I bought from Kemps ages ago. Can you crochet with it? Help :(

Had a busy day and am just recovering from it - out of breathe smiley! Had to drop Dd and Dgs at speech therapy (in the middle of nowhere) take Oh for cancer blood test - very slow nurses, stupid car park. Then back for Dd, run round Morri*ons and take them both home. Dgs was very upset by the change in routine and got angry then sad. He settled down before we left. It left me wrung out so have been taking it easy and looking for a new project as latest throw is nearly done.
