Ha - did it. This is Hetty, have done her the same way I usually do the eyelash hedgies so has come out longer and wider than Hermione did.
Not sure which one I prefer. Sorry, it`s a bit big.WP_20140311_004_zps558a50bb.jpg

oooops -must try to get smaller pics, that`ll be the next task.

Chalky, do you think that they would be suitable for the hedgie place or should I stick with the eyelash type ?

:hello: Love seeing the lovely things you all have been making, saw this
" Hint if you can get that gell retaining moisture stuff that mixes in baskets use some of that. " and popped in to say that bags of silica cat litter are much cheaper and the same stuff. I use it in all my pots and hanging baskets.
I am still trying to use up some of my stash I'm making a lacey scarr with one strand of grey kidsilk haze and one strand of this

anakat - 2.5 mm needles?

Were you under the afluence of incahol when you decided to do that one ?

re gel crystals . Jim used to use a disposable baby nappy in the bottom of some of his baskets and large pots.
Got a few surprised looks when he pulled one out when we went out to groups to give talks on how to grow and show his fuchsias. Was a good ice breaker.

Off to bed now, tomorrow will be another busy day.

Fab makes by everyone including the guttering! I am 1/3 of the way through the throw and working hard to get it finished so I can get on with other things. had a fab afternoon out, found a lovely garden centre in Yorkshire and bought lots of bargains then had lunch out. Hubby is tired but very happy.

    morning all

sewing machine and ironing board have been set up since 7.02am this morning, i did wait for DH to pull out the end of the road, boys were breakfasted packed up and decluttered off to school and work during sewing and pressing stints, thanks to roaming i am mrs happy in charge of happiness distribution. I got the panels cut out last night when i got back and they are now all sewn together and pressed, im just in the process of fixing embrodery panel in the centre but im really pleased with how it looks and cant thank you enough for suggesting mitred corners.

love the idea of saving money with cat litter and using nappies as liners/gel crystals in baskets.

psso those hedgies look adorable, they would make brill wedding favours or you could knit up little bags in lace for that. resolve to not buy any more yarn is crumbling (but then again lace isnt exactly yarn is it??

its misty here and DS2 did shout back it was spitting with rain as i waved him off, hoping it clears off soon
have a brill day all, be back soon once that panel is in

lounge looks more like a sewing shop than a living room with machine ironing and scraps all over but it was a morning spent well.
