Craftie Friday sounds good to me :j
Well, I`ve done a few rows of the wrap, that`s after ripping it back umpteen times.Don`t know if it`s right or not, I stopped counting and am just DOING it, following the v shaping. I`m a bit concerned as the holes along the sides look a bit big to me........? Will carry on and see how it looks further on, might thread some narrow ribbon through so they aren`t so noticeable :undecided.
Rainy here today, so not venturing out. Will do a bit more tidying in between hooking and eating.
Chalky - Glad to help with the hedgies. The stuffing and stitching will give you a break from MONSTERS.
Had a  moment that they took so long to get there. It says on the proof of posting slip ` Royal mail 1st class aims to deliverthe next working day` Aye right -as we say up here.
Dread to think how long second class would take

:mad:Don't talk to me about post at the moment.:mad::mad:
I sent a parcel on the 9Th of December to Dd2 as she would not be home for Christmas. And no family there at all.
I made up a stocking with all her favourite things and it cost about £40 and then paid £13.50 to send it. They wanted £33.50 for tracked. The lady in the post office said it should take 5 days to get there and as it was a city like Barcelona it should be fine !!!!!!!!!!!!
Well it is still not where it should be!!! She went daily to check for weeks and then yesterday she got a call to go to the Post Office and when she went they said they had sent it back to the sender the day before ....... I give up!!!
The parcels she sent to Italy never arrived and the parcels her partner sent her never arrived either.!!
Rant over but I have been so fed up.about it.
So, thank you again elaine and Mrs Moneypenny
I sat down last night and thought of some new hedgehog names as the new owner does not want them all beginning with "h"
So, of course prickles, sonic, snuffles come to mind but what about Prince Quilliam, Quilly Wonka. Any ideas gratefully received!
Well we have been cleaning this morning. Big yawn!! But necessary I am afraid. At least Oh works alongside. In fact he is the driving force really. But now I am downing tools, making lunch then addressing hedgie faces.
I send a great big hug to all.
I wonder how anakat is?Try and do a good deed every day.0 -
Just heard from Anakat, she is reading along as she is sending me a little package for Cambodia - I keep wanting to say Vietnam
So if we all give her a wave maybe she will tell us she is ok :wave::wave::wave:
Im going out again today :T quick visit to a friend then visit a lovely posh shopping street which is full of bargain Cs's possibly coffee and cake. We are also going to a railway exhibition tomorrow (model trains) which is boring for me but won't pass up a trip out. I imagine Hubbys will sleep for a few days after that as it will be three trips out in succession. We are making the most of the reasonable weather and making sure we are stocked up. We have to find places where we can park right next to the shops so it limits us.
have a good weekend all my dear friends xxClearing the junk to travel light

I will get my caravan0 -
:hello: Hi, I am fine, thanks for asking. I just don't usually have a lot to say
I will share a little moan I had this morning, the nearest hobycraft shop is collecting blankets for the local hospital special baby unit, so I thought I can do two charity things in one if I buy some yarn in the sue rider shop and make a couple. their yarn was 50p a ball dearer than wilko's. I do understand that they are a charity but drew the line at an extra £1.50 for yarn to make charity blankets.
I am doing the blankets 'cos you can take them to the shop so not have to pay postage.
Reading this makes me seem really mean, but being on a pension I like my pitance to go as far as possible.0 -
