mrs Moneypenny what a wonderful tribute from your sons school.
f1i meant to tell you that my son was lucky enough to get 3 day pass to the pit lane at the Dubai Grand Prix. He could not believe it and was chatting to people like Damien Hill and Bernie Ecclestone. He is trying to get some kind of electric racing car set up at school over here and a parent saw his endeavours and gave him tickets to go.
Kathydining room sounds wonderful and bathroom too.

Morning all :hello: hope you are all fine `n` dandy.

Pippa, here are three scarflette/neckwarmer patterns I have used. I prefer them as I can`t abide long trailing scarves and like short ones which tuck inside my coat. Loads more on Ravelry though.

chalky - yes it was a relief to hear, and his next appointment arrived this morning for May next year

ginny - liking the sound of 8's and aran, don't know if I have any aran left so I will double some dk up and see how it works out. How is your OH in this awful cold weather?

Back and 1 side of girls cardi done and half way up the 2nd side, should get that done tonight and make a start on the sleeves...

Must away I haven't got anything sorted for Dinner yet ...although... bacon, eggs and mushrooms are lurking in the fridge so a few beans and some toast for the scrambled eggs and OH will be happy a nice quick and easy meal :) he is playing snooker tonight so a light meal is just the ticket

Love to all keep warm Ax
  • Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven't been around lately. I have had such trouble getting on here and I've had to wait for Mr. Twins to sort the computer out. But all seems well now.

I am just popping in to direct you to 'SIBOL' to let you know my current position now for the rest of the year.

Once again another successful year for us and I'd like to thank everyone for your support.

    Thank you

Hi Mrs Twins, I missed you :D Will be on hand for making up blankets after Christmas if you need it and probably have a couple here ready to send you, just need to measure them. I think they will be needed in the homes with the price rises in heating and the cold weather predicted. Cannot think of a better way to help than blankets - comfort and care all wrapped up xx

Pippa, forgot to write the pattern out on here will do it in the morning - sorry. OH is struggling and has spent 5 out of the last 7 days in bed all day. He got up today for a couple of hours and put me a couple of shelves up in the kitchen which has revolutionised how I use the space :j It left him exhausted and sad thinking back to when we used to renovate houses together - boy could that man work hard.

Oh well tomorrow is another day and I fully intend to have a little lie in as I dont get them at weekends like the rest of the world :rotfl:

trying to get more stuff finished off for the craft fayre, cant believe how quickly time is flashing by, didnt get much done yesterday, id had a call back from a routine mammogram appt so have been quite worried for the last few days, but thankfully it was just to tell me that i have cysts which are harmless so they dont need to do anything i just need to be aware and report any changes. huge relief when we came out of the hospital, i feel sick today but i think it is just relief from a few days of stress and worry.

hugs and good wishes to everyone
