sorry - late on parade today - been playing with ickle lickle baby hats on the machine - 4ply, 3ply and 2 ply they are so tiny it takes me longer to sew them up than it does to do the knitting!

Chalky your flower arrangements are wonderful - would never have thought about sunflowers but they look so bright and sunny, really lovely. That is not a skill I will ever acquire - I know this of old - my mum and my sister got that gene - I got some other one (probably the - how to make a proper mess).

I am off for a sit down in a comfy chair with something to drink..... I shall pop in tomorrow after I tot up the hats, till then lots of love and cuddles to you all

Elaine........ circa 500......... but I am looking at all sorts of other alternatives cheapest I found was Aberdean to Gatwick Gatwick to Nantes which puts you nearer to Kathy than to me 163 total BUT (isn't there always a but) the timings for the flights don't work out........ will check Jersey as well cos that's jist up the road!

Off to bed in a while. We ARE going to wake up feeling far less fragile. The little family are in the air right now and on their way.

If anyone struggles with colour combinations and crafty projects like I do have a look at the Design Seed it is brilliant and going to help me so much

that and slightly smaller:), it was for the neonatal ward. some looked only a little bigger than IS hats, she said they run out a few months ago so were desperate but now have a regular lady who pops a few in every 2 weeks ive told her ill be happy to knit for them. she recognised the name loving hans and feels sure theyve had a parcel off them before.
shes going to send me some patterns of hats and cardis they use when she gets them printed off
