chalky, hope you have a lovely few days away xx

mrs m, good to know they are ok I can do a few of those in between some other bits and pieces so no probs anyway im sure they will always need them, don't forget to let me know what the patterns are when they let you know as I said always happy to help out xx

At the moment Ive started a blanket for a friends future grandchild Im three pattern repeats up so far only 11 more to go  still I only started it last night so not that bad bit heavy on the hands though then when I try picking something lighter up it feels really odd - probably just me .... you know what a la la I can be.

Anyway just a quick pop in to make sure you are all ok and send you all a hug xx

PS ginny - that's one big secret from GS how very clever, they are so very cute at that age, Im sure Grandad is very proud too xx

pps pippa nearly forgot to say that blanket is amazing clever you xxx

I'm glad you've posted it on LH, Jean; I haven't been able to post on there for ages. It's a great article with lovely photos of Lou, isn't it? I'm amazed at what the doctors are managing to do for her, and she really deserves it.

That hat is really gorgeous; lovely colours, too. You are nothing if not persistent, aren't you?!

hugs to everyone, have just skimmed thru posts, will catch up properly later on.
ddil still hasn't given birth, she was due on weds 21st, so we're all on tenterhooks waiting, have knitted so much for the baby I lost count as I kept giving things to ds and ddil as I completed things. there was a fair amount of jumpers and cardigans in first and second sizes, as well as hats and bootees, and a lovely baby blanket, that lots of my friends and people from knitting group commented on.
will post when there is any news

    love to all

Question - why do babies always seem to come in the night?
Anyway I hope Grandchild Shaz arrives soon and safely xx

roamin - I am loving all the ear-flap hats - you are clever, I do like the patterned ones as they take so much work but the plain lemon one looks so warm and squishy little girl would love that one Im sure xx makes me think I should dig out the Mayflower ear flap hat I liked doing it but don't like faffing about with one flap then the other - I like simple things ...... I know what your thinking :D:rotfl:

nothing much to report here have done a couple more little weenie hats ready to put to one side until I have a pile to send off to Mrs M. Finished a small 15" blanket, have been putting a motif in the middle, one with baby feet and one with heart

    ij4i.jpg

This is the pink one with feet, haven't photographed the blue one with heart yet.

Hope everyone is well - hugs to all xx
