F1- I am feeling fine, thanks; I am worried for my sister since my BIL passed away. Although I know she's strong and will be OK in time, it's the immediate future I worry about. As for my mum, she is as well as can be but becoming more forgetful as the weeks go by. It's such a shame that she can't be treated for the Alzheimer's because of her other health problems, otherwise the decline would be slower.

I hope Edna does not put in another appearance. You want to see the back of her once and for all, don't you? I hope the health therapy goes well. Your little hats are lovely!

Jean - those bags are so clever, and what a great idea for presents!

Well, I have just finished the ironing for the holiday home; it was an enormous pile and it's really gratifying to see it all ready to take back over. I'm actually feeling quite saint-like at the moment!

I hope you all have a good day.

    Afternoon all
I had a visitor this morning MrsTwins called in to collect 125 squares made by Moms friend Grace, we spent a lovey hour chatting and catching up on things.

All in all though it been a busy sort of day hair cut, shopping, tidying up, buying wool (I just had to) and I resisted the urge to stray into Greggs mmmm just the smell coming from there makes me weaken, I'm trying to lose a few pounds and it aint easy :o
But being good I have just sorted food out for Dinner tonight, baked spuds and salmon fillets with some buttered veg and a weight watchers toffee dessert all nice and healthy... well ish anyway:rotfl:

chalky - Haven't tried them with crochet yet but the knitting is coming along ok. Hope you both enjoy your chill out break in Cornwall, time out will do you good x
ginny - Glad to hear doctor listened it's about time. How exciting for your little jet setter he will love it. Hope your OH is feeling less sleepy now.
jean - Thanks again for the parcel I have the stuffing all ready to go :) Love the string bags I have a load of cotton yarn that a friend gave me so will twist some together as it's quite fine and have a go at one or 2 for the girls Christmas Fayre.Lovely sparkly/happy pictures every day x
kathy - yes for some reason the holidays have flown this year. All that ironing  Such a shame your Mum can't be treated it could make such a difference for her.As long as nasty sis keeps her beak out I'm sure Jane will be ok it's going to be so hard for her, we watched and helped when our friend Jo's OH died from cancer, she was a different person for a time but with patience and support she got through ... it's now 5 years down the line and she looks and sounds more like herself again
shaz - Glad to hear the boys are ok. How exciting for you and what an honour to be in charge of something so important...any news yet?
f1 - yep families eh!!! I hope the therapy goes well for you...and Edna packs her bags for good soon x
psso - I would love to go to Yarndale but not possible, hope you and your family are all ok and work isn't wearing you out too much

I have been working on my check throw for the last couple of nights and have done 70% now and it's looking more like the tartan rug it's supposed to be, will try and put a picture up so you can see it.

I dont know where to start you are all so busy :D

Shaz, you will love being a Grandma, how much have you knitted for the little one so far :)

Roamin, love your blog and some of your friends blogs, now have the pattern for your bag and a cushion from one of your friends :T

    Pippa lovely blanket

F1 hope you sort out how to tackle the next part of your therapy and your family - me thinks the therapy may help you tackle the family better?? Families are often a pain in the bum arent they? Never worry about the parcel, things are always of use and I have my Christmas cards for the hospice to start soon which will keep me busy.

Chalky, enjoy your break, sounds lovely, sending hugs x

Kathy your sister will be very busy for a while, re-assessing and re-adjusting and of course grieving, having a caring sister like you to talk to and give her support will mean a great deal, I am sure. xx

Things much the same here, OH sleeping on and off but being busy inbetween. Im making things for my fair, its a week on Saturday. I have a lot made but just done some little felt owls and am quite pleased with them. Will pop them on my blog when I get a minute.

DGs decided to let us in on a secret - he can write :j He recites the alphabet backwards forwards and sideways and now writes the letters too, the little monkey has had us all writing line after line in rainbow colours and he can bloomin do it himself :rotfl: Not bad for 3 years old !

Hugs to anyone I missed out xxx
