Hello one and all and lots of very special love tucked in. Thank you all for thinking of us. We have had a lovely week ... Busy, busy, busy. The best antidote to people leaving is hoovering and leaning and my goodness everything as been flying away like Mary Poppins and the cleaning scene.

Now it's a five minute sit down, catch up and then a lovely friend arrives
For the weekend. We have a wedding on Saturday and I am doing the flowers for it. Sunflower theme. I need a good sleep tonight no very early morning wake up and cuddles and then I might make them look half way presentable!!!

Mrs Moneypenntyou are a star. Thank you so much for the parcel of flat packed hedgies. They are beginning to take shape already and I am ever so grateful.
We actually took William to the hedgehog hospital and he over it. The new owners seem to be doing very well and were busy when we went.

ginnyi was so sorry to read about your cat. What a horrible thing to happen. So sad.

PippaHave a wonderful time with the girls. Some spoiling lined up I am sure. Has you taught them to crochet yet?

Jean and Kathyenjoy your Bank Holiday. Hope hats are flying off the machine. What a wonderful collection you will have.

f1make sure you kick Edna good and hard! I hate to think of you feeling down.

pssoHas the garden and greenhouse been productive this year?

shazthat sounds great but please take it gently. Hope all quiet on the boys front.

pfungia belated Happy Birthday. Hope you had a lovely day.

Well. DDIL took the three blankets I had made for her Nans home so they are cleared out of the way.

I think it is time to get moving again. Far too quiet just now xxxxxx

Hello all, back to the land of some normality. Had a GP's appointment the other day and got a few things off my chest so I think she has a better understanding of my position now. She actually listened and helped  makes a bloomin change. Oh is tired but doing ok.

Pippa have a lovely time with the girls, hope the weather is kind.

F1 sending hugs, hope you kick Edna out soon xxx

Shaz, good luck with the new man as Chalky says take it slow :)

And of course my dear Chalky, will be looking on your blog for wedding pics soon, Im sure it will be beautiful. You are such a kind person and I think of you often. It sounds as if you had a very special time this last week. xxx

I have succeeded in getting a stall at a craft fair - had to send pics of my work to be accepted and the organiser loved them. All the crafty stuff is ready just sorting out how best to display things. Its at a big art gallery in Manchester which is closing down for renovations and is hosting lots of events before it shuts. Its on the 31st of August and timing is perfect as DGs and co are off to see his other grandad in France - little jet setter :D So it will occupy my mind while they are away.

Good morning everyone. Well it did seem strange without our little visitor this morning but lovely to have a bit of a lie in.
Doh just gone off to get the flowers. Hope the sunflowers disperse the rain which is persisting it down at the moment. I am avng a quiet cup of tea before going out in the Garden To collect the Greenery.wow I just pressed the seaker button on the pad and you can dictate your post but every word starts with a capital!!

ginny Thank U for such kind words I am glad the doctors went well.
What brilliant news about the craft fair.

jean I hope you are buying some yarn while you are out.

pippa I hope the sun comes out for you at the van as your granddaughters are having such a treat.

F1 Jacqui I hope you are feeling a bit brighter today.

Wish I had read your message BEFORE I scooted off........ didn't get any yarn at all, not even a squish of any, or a sniff near any yarn shops!
It was DIY shop followed by fruit and veg market.... so I have now put
yarn on the next shopping list - regardless of where I happen to be going.

I have a new pattern for tiny baby hats to try out on the machine tonight and if it goes well I shall no doubt make tons of them over the weekend.

We have a bit of rain now, but I will take your rain Chalky if it helps - so the bride and groom don't need to have any.

Love and cuddles to you all, will be back with an update sometime over the weekend

LoL, certainly not through the roof proportions unfortunately. Out of interest, just how much was it ? Certainly tempted.
Been thinking about venturing to Yorkieland to the Yarndale event which I read about on Attic24, anyone here going?

Just been chillin` the past few days in preparation for a busy weekend at work. Lots of ignoring of dust and other tasks studiously avoided.

Finished another granny square blanket in pastel colours and also a scrappy scarf long enough for a three year old - guess who modelled it for size ;)
Have also discovered a bag of assorted squares in the back of the cupboard. Might just have to stitch them up for pet blankets and give them to a local lady who rescues cats and other small mammals. That would be another space ready to refill :T

Really must get the blanket started for DD`s friend and try to do a bit in between other projects. Trouble is, I`ll have to find the blimmin` pattern first :rotfl:.

Right, I`m off now to tidy up after those mucky medical folks.
Have a great weekend, will try to get back sometime soon.
