    PSSO - URGENT...........

can you measure JJ's napper (circumference and height) for hat please so that I have a rough idea just how big to make childrens hats (this would be for earflap hats
    x Jean

Morning (just) all. Well it was when I started this post !!

Sorry Jean only just seen your post but have measured my mini model and these are the results.

    Circumference - 21inches
Top of ear to the top of the other ear -12inches
Bottom of ear lobe to the bottom of the other lobe - 15 inches.

Congratulations to you and the new family Shaz. Being a grandma is even better than being the new mum I think.

Hope you and the Sporty one have a safe and pleasant journey Chalky.

Ginny, I`m not surprised you decided to give the craft fair a miss. Wait for a fair in a nice warm hall and crack on with some more work. Is there anything I can help with ?

Right, it`s dry for the moment so I`m off outside with my trusty shears - that`s a fib, I had to go out and buy a new set as the old ones were stuck together with rust :(- to hack back some overgrown plants which are running to seed. much as I like them, I really don`t want the whole garden full of them.

    Have a good day.

CONGRATULATIONS shaz welcome to the grand-parents club...nothing quite like it :)

ginny - thats a shame but better than standing there in the cold and wet it would have done you no good at all.

Ah well, the best laid schemes of mice and men -and ME- gang aft agley.

DD decided we had to go food shopping and by the time we got back it was RAINING. No plants being cut back today then.
Shame I`ll just have to go and knit instead eh?;)

Might have a look through the pattern box for some inspiration.
Lovely way to spend a damp afternoon, patterns and a cuppa (or two).

been to see ds, ddil, and grandson, he's absolutely gorgeous, and I got to hold him loads and give him lots of cuddles, I love him so much. both mum and baby allowed home from hospital, so it was my pleasure to get them home safely and meant I got even more cuddles. tonight I will be sorting out my baby boy patterns, and will cast on a cardigan or a jumper.
chalky if I;m not too late, have a safe journey
    hugs to all

Shaz - he sounds so gorgeous. Please give him a squeeze from me; there's nothing better than a brand new baby to cuddle, is there?

Chalky give Kathy a hug from me too and have a good journey and a lovely time xxx

Pippa, once last break before winter, hope the weather is kind.

Psso theres always another day to garden, hope you had a nice relax instead.

We went out for lunch and a look round a very small garden centre then home and Oh went back to bed as usual. He is sleeping more but in shifts :( Still it means I have time to pootle and craft. I have officially a mountain of craft stuff so need to sort something out. Psso very kind of you to offer help. If I do what I am planning I will be holding a small craft fair and invite others to rent stalls. However I will need at least 3 stalls for my stuff as there are lots of different categories. Well its worth a try I hope xxx
