    Hi everyone

    Just taking a break from all the 'getting ready to go away' stuff. I thought I had plenty of time but all of a sudden we are off tomorrow morning, although I should have time to pop in to say goodbye. I can't wait to see all the family back home, and to be with my sister; I have never felt so far away, and the sooner we move back there for good, the better.

    I shall be taking some woolly stuff to get on with while we're travelling; I'll probably do squares because they don't need much concentration. I'd like to do the mice but I find it too painful to knit these days.

    The weather forecast for where we are going (Southampton and Weston-super-Mare) looks pretty good, and I am hoping it stays that way. We will be back late in the evening on Thursday 1st August. I can't believe how quickly this year is going.

    I hope you all have a good day, and that the weather is good wherever you are.

    Will call in again before I go.

    safe journey kathy, i hope things go as well as they can.
    important thing is you will be all be there for each other and i hope there will be some laughter and happy memories mixed in with the tears.
    we will all be thinking of you and in spirit be by your side supporting you when you need us most.

    just had a lovely surprise DD3 popped round before work to wish me a good day, had a work colleague drop by on way to shops so looking like a busy day, spose i better go sort the boys breakfast out and do some washing up.
