Elaine, sending lots of hugs to you, im sure its still difficult for you, I know in previous years you have mentioned the garden and all the flowers you plant for Jim, how is it looking this year? Im sure lovely - he would be proud im sure. thinking of you J xxxx

Still have not remembered to look up that pattern for the square hat kind of fits really as sometimes I feel I have a very square brain (about the size of a dice!) xxx

Hi everyone, thanks for your good wishes and kind thoughts, much appreciated.

F1 - was it the KAS square beanie pattern ?

Also you were looking for all in one type cardies. Have you tried this one, it`s easy peasy -only sewing up is side /sleeve seam. I use different coloured buttons as well - mix and match- it uses up all my odd buttons.

Not so many flowers in the garden this year I`m afraid :( Ds and I have decided we are going to revamp it and put in more perennials, so that we don`t have so much work to do every year. I`m not fit enough and he doesn`t know weeds from flowers:rotfl:Not exactly Percy Thrower, my lad. Ooooh, showing my age now - should have said Alan Titchmarsh :p

Off to try and sleep, it`s a wee bit cooler tonight so fingers crossed for some decent zzzzzzz`s.

    Hi everyone

Once again, thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers. I am just waiting to find out the date of the funeral, then we shall be on our way. We are hoping that my sister will come back with us for a while; well, for as long as she wants. We will just suggest it to her because she may want to stay close to her children and grandchildren, so it will be up to her, but it may help a little for her to be somewhere different after all she has been through.

I hope you all have a good day and thank you so much for being there.

Hi Marianna - nice to see you over here :j:j:wave::wave::grouphug:
Im sure you are the Marianna who does the lovely patterns that I like, it will be lovely to have you on board here with all your wonderful things you knit xxxx

Hope everyone is well - thinking of those with sadness and difficulties at the moment xxxxx

psso - no its not the KAS one ....... and I do love that little jumper pattern but I guess you have not heard my "la la" problem with buttons ............... do I dare admit .........

I don't like sewing them on as Im always worried that I wont sew them on enough and little ones will put them in their mouth and you probably guessed the rest - there I said it I confessed :eek::eek::eek:

Promise promise promise I will be back tomorrow, dig out the pattern and let you know xxx

roamin - can I ask does the fact that you are knitting snowmen give the illusion of feeling cooler as if it does I will start knitting them:D? xxx

linedancerann - its lovely to see you pop in - how have you been, missed you not being here xx

anyway must away to finish making the bed now its cooler, am knitting an adult hat for the box another knitty friend and I are making up to give to Hope Centre at the end of the year BUT its such horrible boring colour - using up stash so all must go none must be shunned! - hence I have no real enthusiasm for it so will try to get that finished tonight - love and hugs to all xxx
