Hi everyone, and welcome to Marianna-mel; it's good to have you with us.

There is nothing to update this week but can I ask you, Jean, to do the updates for the next couple of weeks, please? I am waiting to hear from my sister about the funeral arrangements so that we can rearrange our trip back to the UK. She will let me know today what the plans are; I expect it will be some time early next week, so we are on standby, so to speak.

She is coping as well as can be with her family around her, but I am desperate to be back there with her. I have no idea how long we will stay but will have to be back for DH's work; he has a job booked in for 4th August.

I will call in later. I am sorry I've not been posting much lately but I know all you lovely virtual friends will understand.

I hope you all have a good day.

Frustrating for you Kathy, its natural to want to be with your sister so you can support her. We are all thinking of you here, yes I tell OH and the kids about my dear friends. They know how kind and generous of spirit you all are. In some ways the kids feel better knowing I have such a network of goodness around me when I need it. Sending hugs. xxx

Have DGS here fast asleep on the couch as he is poorly and his Mummy only has to work 4 hours. The child minder cannot have him when he is feeling Pooh obviously but I know she would if she could. So far we have been playing the 3 bears and he has checked all the beds upstairs to see which is bounciest and which is best for Bo bo's but needed to lie on me on the couch to finally snooze.

    Afternoon all

Been a busy couple of days here packing ,shopping, cooking for Mom, then another couple of hours at the shops for sunlotion/after sun etc and tomorrow will be washing and cleaning then Sunday... ironing
Monday early we are off to pick up Jo and her new man then down to Dover for our cruise ...ooo lovely

kathy - sending gentle (((hugs))) for you all x
ginny - I hope the 'little feller' is feeling a bit better now
marianna-mel - nice to see you we love new friends joining us, anything you want to know just ask :) Another L/H'r here, bit infrequent lately though
prfungi - I must have a look at the crafters thread as well

Just a thought...if you do all decide to vacate the premises please leave me directions...geography is not my strong point and I could be wandering around forever on my ownsome...

My friend asked me the other day if I would make her a blanket for in her conservatory, with flowers and butterfly's all over it...in pink's and lilac's AGAIN... so that will keep me busy when we get back.
I will post the link for the Tartan Rug I am doing next I forgot to do it a few day's ago :o
    Love to all Ax

Thanks again, everyone. Your kind words mean such a lot.

Thanks, also, to you, Jean, for doing the spready for me; I am really grateful.

I should hear from my sister later about the arrangements.

I'll keep popping in when I am away because I should be able to get online easily. I must admit I have completely forgotten about whether we move this thread to the new Crafting Board. I'm not even sure if we'll have a choice in the end. It seems that we are all a bit unsure about it all!
