Lovely to see both Elaine and Pam - we all lurk sometime and we know you will pop up when ready. Going to be hot hot hot today so I will be finding a shady spot to sit and do a bit of 'nothing much'.

    Have a wonderful day folks

    ok my tuppenyhaporthworth
I love it most when we are vibrant. And going back to our roots. Serving charities was how we began. So much has happened to so many of us we have become a platform where happy times, celebrations, sadness and all in between has happened.
We have made friends. Virtually and in reality. We have done so much to help others . Charities far and wide. I look back to challenges like the Spanish Orphanage and memory blankets with the fondest memories. Then we kissed the geezers and all else in between
BUT we have lost friends too.... Maytaurus a prime example. We have lurked and lost the will to post. I personally used to love posting " bonkers " pictures but have never got my head around putting pictures on once Photobucket eneded .... sorry Jean for being too lazy to follow your instructions for alternatives.
So where am I ....... sitting on the fence with the rest of you I guess. I would be saddest of all if this thread grinds to a halt. So maybe we need an injection of energy.
what a waffly lo of words just to say place us where anyone likes but please dont lose us
Try and do a good deed every day.

HI all sorry to hear PSSO and PRFUNGI are feeling under the weather hope you feel more like your old selves soon - anything we can do to help ???? xxxx

having read the recent posts I may be swaying with staying - if we are not having our own thread and are going to get mixed up I shall be a complete la la ...............:rotfl::eek::rotfl:

chalky is right in what she has said - lets do what we do best
HELP OTHERS, going back to our roots

I do miss the old gang k2tog, maytaurus, seakay, isom etc - don't get me wrong all of you are wonderful and am honoured to have friends like you

Anyway waffle over I hope you understand what I mean

BOY IS IT HOT plus have had ANOTHER EAR INFECTION so lets just say this weekend have not been happy bunny

Im going to get the ball rolling I found a pattern for square hats from a blog - now Ive said that I cant remember where I found it..... will pop back in with that (sorrrrrryyyyy!) and am loving that at the moment, funny how items become obsessive and you have to do a handful before you move on to something else. My other favourite I look out for is "top down" cardigans very little sewing up and no sleeves to sew on which Im hideous at.

Come on girls lets hear what you are making, why, where its destined for etc and unlike me if you can remember the pattern post that too

Is anyone making Innocent hats this year? Ive managed a few very plain boring ones though, using up those free balls you get with magazines etc that Ive had stashed for a while.

Love and hugs to all - sorry Im not updating this week - havnt done any sewing up whoops xxx

    PS WELL DONE MURRAY! xxx

    And
We are still up to our eyes sorting mums things.... Seems never ending and so hard to know what to do with some of it
Hey ho .... We will get there but the charity shops love us just now.
Try and do a good deed every day.

Just popping in to let you know that my dear BIL, Tony, passed away today, surrounded by his family. I know how much you have all kept him in your thoughts and prayers, and that has been a huge comfort and support. We all kept hoping for a miracle but it wasn't to be; we are thankful that he is now out of pain.
