Seakay - I think only Jean and I can access the spreadsheet. If you want to post your correct totals, I can put it right later on today. Sorry about that!
Thanks for your kind words about my blog! I don't post on there as often as I would like because the time seems to disappear here at a rate of knots, but, one day, when the house is finished (if it ever is!) I hope to!
I'm pleased your dental worries proved groundless - you must be relieved about that.
Sock-knitter - I'll echo what Seakay has just said and hope that everything is going well for you and your boys?

Afternoon all; just popping in before quick snooze and then out to be a 2yr old to bed! Work definately getting busier and now have 6 cases!! Knew it wouldnt last long! So far so good though and there is nothing worse than being un-busy when others are rushing about!
Seakay mums op has been cancelled! She may well ring you for a cuppa but has, once again, been sorting lol! Clearly feeling alot less wobbly than she was!
Im up for the yurt if it comes anywhere near - sounds fun!
Hugs for you chalky as you make final preparations for departure...
Mrs m great that you had a break. Bound to be hard for a while but I always think that when we remember people after theyhave died that its a way of keeping them alive in some way IYKWIM? Always thinks its so sad when people die and have noone to speak of them ..not sure if I expressed myself well...there was a documentary on smell/memory etc that was really interesting.
Found out last night that one of the cats has a new home and sounds lovely and like she will be much loved. Just one to go now!
In haste! hugs those that need them!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Seakay - hopefully, I've sorted out your totals.
Everyone - I still can't post the totals to my blog but the last one on there updates automatically when I update the spreadsheet (IYSWIM!). Please let me know if I've made any mistakes!
ISOM - glad your cat has a new home!
Well, I've had to hunt for a particular bank statement this afternoon and, would you know, it was the only one that doesn't appear to have been posted to me! I spent a good couple of hours looking in likely places and, in the end, phoned the bank for a copy. I hate wasting time like that!
The weather has been kind and I have got all the washing from the holiday home washed and dried now (six loads!). Just need to iron the pillowcases and it will all be ready to take back over there and make up the beds for the next guests.
I've also started to get more work from one of the companies I work for online, so that will keep me occupied and increase the wool fund!
Well, I expect DH needs another cuppa so I'm off to put the kettle on.

Hello everyone I'm back :hello:
Just a quick peek around the door as we are up to our necks in it again !!!
We had a lovely time with Chalky and her DOH, we sat and had a good old chinwagthe men were getting along just great....who says women talk the most :rotfl:
The cream tea was such a treat and your lovely lemon drizzle cake Chalky was scrumptious.
I must admit I was a bit nervous before we met but goodness knows why because she is so lovely and easy to get on with, and we were soon chatting away twenty to the dozen.I hope we can meet up next time we get down to Devon.
The weather was a bit wet to say the least, but the girls loved it anyway, they had booked into a caravan park not too far from us. They came over to see our caravan as they had'nt seen it, and we went over to them, went to the club a couple of times and "Grandad" was boogying with the best of them, said he had a backache the next day....hmmmm wonder why.....
OH had a phone call on Sunday asking us to go back home as his Mum had been taken back into hospital, she is really poorly.
So it's been very busy here since then as you can imagine.
I left the key to the van with our friend Jan and her OH they said they will dry out the Fridge/Freezer for us when it had finished defrosting. We did everything else so it was just the F/F.
Managed to get a good bit of DGD1's ripple blanket done, and a couple of pairs of wristwarmers for shaz and started another pair, so I was pleased with that
I have quite a few things for the update but I will put them on next week's update.
Will have a read through later (if I stay awake);)
Hope all is well with you all
Anne

Well Anne I am so glad you got home safely but sorry it was under such worrying circumstances. I do hope DMIL improves soo. Of course just to be perverse the weather has greatly improved this week but it is still windy. We too so enjoyed your visit -- pictures on the blog. And it would be lovely to meet up next time you are westwards.
Kathy I hope you get lots of Euros for all that work!
I have been busy all day-- making tea for the painters but also trying to wash all the bits and pieces DD2 might need!!! There is still quite a lot to sort in her room and surrounding dumping grounds!! I know she places little importance of such sorting but I really need to feel more in control of what is left behind after the whirlwind which I know will be her departure.
Thanks for good wishes ISOM !! I am feeling less tearful but still a bit fearful. She has been travelling before but last time was with her steady boyfriend at that time. Sadly he broke her heart and I really feel this journey is to try and get him out of her system !! We shall see.
Well its sausage casserole for tea and then a quiet evening I hope. DD1 galloped me out to the Post Office in the next village with Buster earlier. A good
1 1/4 hours walk or scamper so I am catching breath!!
Well lots of love to one and all xTry and do a good deed every day.0 -
Crossed post Thanks May for that --- Oh my goodness -- the temptation of more wool!Try and do a good deed every day.0
