    Dear Elaine
Thank you so much for taking the trouble to send that. We can not actually get your docs to print properly on our printer. Yours have 3 columns whereas when our printer prints your lovely pattern we only have 2 columns. So frustrating as it looks a great a pattern. Will keep fiddling but expect the problem is our end!! I will also have a look on the web for that pattern.
Jean a star again. Thank you I am actually looking for a summer dress pattern similar to this one

I know not why but that pattern will not print either!!!! I am so momentarily in love with my sewing machine I was going to make it for part of my Charity dolls summer wardrobe!

Thank you for offer of patterns I will try and find that book in the library
    Love to you all

I scanned the pattern in but cannot get it too attach to an e mail but looks like you have plenty off others to choose from. I will pop some patterns in the post to you anyway in case you can use them Chalky, after all you can never have too many patterns :D With an 18"doll I would just add a few more rows and a 16" pattern will then fit. American girl dolls are more girly as opposed to baby dolls but some of the patterns will work for a baby doll xxx

benn playing in the back garden with DGS, he loves the new gravel apth I made him as its nice and crunchy to walk on. In fact it wore him out and he is now snoozing on the couch so peaceful here with the sun shiny on us righteous ones :rotfl: Hubby sat out with us too so we all got fresh air, so nice to be able to use the garden even if it is still a bit messy.

    hugs to all xx

Thank you all so much --- goodness knows why it wont scan --- normally I just blame my incompetence -- which I often have by the dollop load but DOH tried and it would not work for him either! Phew!

jEAN --I am being incompetent here. I was just going to blog about your beautiful quiet book and somehow the poem has disappeared. Another dollop of incompetence.Could you please email it to me.

I blame it on my head being too full of ideas! Dolls knickers to making a cushion for a deck chair. Well I have to strike whilst the sewing machine is smokin!

Thanks for all the knicker advice! I would have thought knickers easy to find -- you are all absolute stars!

  • Hello all.
Sorry to read some of you are not so good, hope things are better soon.

Have been missing again for a while, went back to work this week after several years, all part of the benefit changes but not to bad.

Crocheted a couple of small things following a pattern and then went on to Gordon the owl, a pattern I got at the craft show in March from a company called Mrs Moon. Got the wool from black sheep wools nicely priced. Have also knitted some large squares for another blanket used the last of the fluffy type wools I had, am going to knit some double knit squares to put with them.

    Take care and happy knitting
