mrs moneypenny - keep a check on FREECYCLE you might be lucky to pick up a bike there, ALSO SEE http://www.bumblebeeauctions.co.uk/XcAuctionPro.asp for cheap deals I have three in the barn but they are disgusting and will be off to the tip shortly - left far too long to rust!
PippaS glad to hear Mam had a McDo.... my kind of treat - well their coffee and their ice cream and their FREE WIFI are what drags me in there.
ginny - fingers crossed that the weather will be kind to you for your holiday
PSSO - how dare you entice us into buying more stash - I managed to get 10 balls while I was out to lunch - so no more for me for a wee while
ISOM - don't you go doing far too much far too soon, slow and steady won the race!
SHAZ - where are you and are you OK - not seen you in a while?
F1- don't go worrying until such times as you NEED to.........just play it all cool till you get to see the quack!
Kathy, have you heard anything from the notairs about anything yet?
well the good news from my end of the world is that DS has now finally moved into his new apartment......seems the builders are still on site but that won't worry him DH has returned from London - he was the able assistant at curtain track- laminate floor laying- general dogsbody, skip filler and scrubber!!! Poor love DH is absolutely exhausted (well both of them are but that's besides the point). I get to visit when I am on holiday in May - so looking forward to that one - I just have to knock up some blackout curtains and linings for the patio doors for him... and I still have no access to the sweatshop....ggggrrrrr I have a good mind to just order it all on line and be done with it.... its only 19 days till I depart these shores for all points NORTH across the water - may have to start packing the pampervan soon! Back tomorrow folks, I am doing a little bit of crochet - while the telly is yet again RUBBISH. lOVE TO YOU ALL

F1, just STOP looking things up on t`internet at once !!

Doogle throws up all sorts of things which worry and confuse you - guess how I know that ;) - and there is no need to worry unnecessarily.

I did the same, managed to convince myself I was practically a goner.
Then went to gp for advice, told him what I`d read about the problem and was given a stern talking to.:o Do not believe everything you read on the web says he, as in the majority of cases it is irrelevant to your case.

Even if your thyroid isn`t working properly right now, your gp will get it under control pretty quickly. I know it`s difficult, but just try to relax until you can see him/her.

I`m STILL debating about that wool..............it`s soooo tempting. :rotfl:I even dreamed about it last night, planning what I could do with each colour , blankets, cardies, hats. There`s not much hope for me is there ?:rotfl:

Right, I`m off to watch last Saturdays episode of Casualty on iplayer as I was out visiting my friend. Will get some more of the blanket border done as well maybe.

    Toodle oooo.

F1-- Please stay calm and let this shock subside a little. We have all been there and been at the end of a road before actually starting the journey. Keep calm and the doctor will take so much more notice of what you have to say. This has all been a shock and I hope things get a lot better soon. Please keep coming on here and keeping us up to date. You really do have friends here just as you are a friend to us. xxxx

morning all, been lurking, but not posting, head all over place at mo,
positive news, my lads turned 18 last friday, and both seem settled in their own lives and are keeping out of trouble.
not so good, went to arthritis clinic and a doctor there told me what i already know, that i need an op on my knee's, i'm only 42 but my knees feel much older, have had a stairlift installed in my flat also as its a first floor one. bad news is, i keep having, 'episodes' of not being well, sleeping 16 hours a day, muscle spasms, general pains, and not able to think clearly, these esisodes only last few days at a time, but are becoming more frequent, so i have an appointment to see neurologist.
i know lots of others are suffering just now too, and i'm sending all of you massive hugs.
    love shaz xxx
loves to knit and crochet for others
