Thanks so much F1 but no... I thought it was Ginny who had put the link but I was mistaken. It was a company in Wales and the Stylecraft was £1.39 at thttimei think.

Good morning everybody and a huge hug tucked in. I have got up earlier than usual as I really want to catch up with things, everything. Tall order methinks.

Our holiday was wonderful and WIlliam a delight. The Spanish love children and his fair hair and cheeky grin attracted a lot of attention!!! Doh and I were shattered over the weekend but in a lovely way. I am not thinking about departure to Dubai in August and just keeping very calm about it all.

Well reading back I am so sorry to hear about PTB's dad. What sad news and I do send love and condolences to the whole family.
So glad blankie s are being made in his memory. I know Dawn will be touched.

GInnyi am so sorry that your DOH is not so well. It must be such a worry for you. Your GS sounds a delight.

kathyi am thinking about you all as your BIL continues his struggle. I just keep hoping to see good news of house sale or plots etc. everything crossed.

mrs Moneypennyi bet knitting for Beau has been blissful. I am so glad that things are better for your DB and his family. I know Lily can never be replaced but every baby brings joy.

anakat I am going to have a little look at that charity. Your giraffe is gorgeous. My thimble never progressed:)

pippadont come to Devon yet. It is not good. Very grey and wet.your dog is lovely. Your work always is. Love to you both

pfungi I bet your Babette blanket will look wonderful.i love them.

pssobelated happy birthday to Jayden. Time flies. I bet he keeps you so busy especially with "why, why, why!!!"

f1 I hate to hear you worried. I don't think you are over thinking. Just worried but try not to let it take then enjoyment out of your work. Is there a special local charity that you could adopt and help them. Don't leave here though will you !!!!

jeanthanks for that link. I think it was a new member who gave the link but I will have a look there too.

mia's lurkers and alllots of love to you .

    Afternoon all
just a quickie I am supposed to be doing lunch ;)

ginny - I am sorry to hear your OH is so poorly now, I read about the morphine patch and have to agree, when OH was going through his cancer he had a few problems with some of the morphine patches, so he was prescribed liquid morphine as well and that did help him sending (((gentle hugs))) for you both x

chalky - lovely to see you back and William sounds a real character, I know the shattered but good feeling only too well :) We aim to be in Devon around the 24th/25th April if everything works out up here...
f1 - I think we are all floundering with the charity items at the moment the P.O. charges are diabolical, I must contact the QE Maternity unit to see if they are accepting knitted/crochet items, I know some hospitals stopped receiving them at one time
jean - thanks for the seafarers link, I have a parcel ready to go to them but not got around to posting it :o I must go and see if there are anymore free address's on L/H

Thank you for your comments about Dougal yep that's what I am calling him...until DGS gets his hands on him anyway

Off to start lunch before I waste away...HA that'll be the day :rotfl:

i know what you mean, the first time i met her and was giving her a cuddle talking to her , i told her she was beautiful just like her sisters. my brotherheard me and thanked me he said people are funny about mentioning 'both' sisters incase it upsets anyone.:oi just said it without thinking as she will always have 2 sisters even if one isnt here with us.
the bunny i knitted was a pattern id got and i'd done the twins one each then did my mum an identical copy of lilys. after what happened i said i would never knit that pattern again unless it was for someone connected with them, i got a lovely text of their mum asking if Beau could have a bunny too.

Got to finish decluttering and decide what im knitting next. i need to use some more wool up

hugs and good wishes to all

Well, I am cream-crackered so am off for an early shower and an early sit down, which makes a change in this house!

Hope you all have a great evening.

MrsMP glad you and the family talk about Lily, its much better to talk xx

I have just booked us a few days away next week. We are going to Lincolnshire to a fishing place. Its a little cottage right on the lakeside with disabled access. The idea is we have breakfast, go into one of the towns and do something in the morning then OH can fish all afternoon/ sleep when he wants and I can sit and do the same as I do here only with a view of lakes tree's and wildlife. I am so looking forward to it. theres even a little diner type place on site so we can have a meal out one night. Just need a trailer for the car now for all my craft stuff and of course I need to stock up on wool for a new project that I will find :rotfl: any excuse!

I hope theres WIFI so I can keep in touch with you all!....wanders off to check...
