Hello to one and all.
Lots of thoughts to those with positive things going on just now. The ups and downs of life. Thankfully this has become a place for us all to share all with no judgements or criticism. A gentleness and warmth of spirit that helps us all.
Purple teddy bear. That, sadly was exactly what happened to Dfil. The shock is so bad and so hard to come to terms with. The gentlest thoughts are with you and your family. So hard for your little ones. I am sure he was a treasured Grandad.
Kathy. Good luck with the final bits of the plot. Such good news. And hope mum goes from strength to strength. Your Bil sounds amazing and I do hope he is with your family for.a long time yet.
Isom. Slowly, slowly. Be kind to yourself.

Ginny. Your outings sound lovely. So glad for you.
Jean. How are you managing without your creative space .xxx
Shaz. How is your mum?
Well we have been out fr a long walk with friends over very challenging terrain . Wonderful views and tracks through abandoned villages. Great Tapas lunch afterwards and now a big cup of tea!!
I am knitting a Bactus scarf just now( on blog) as thumb is rebelling against hooking just now. It had better jump back into line as the BIG blanket needs finishing on our return.
Take care and love to all xxTry and do a good deed every day.0 -

Happy Mother's Day to you all, and special thoughts and hugs for those whose mums and beloved mums-in-law are no longer with them.
Jean - that is a beautiful card you posted on here!
Thank you all for your lovely words of support for my BIL; they really do mean a lot.
ISOM - hope you are better today than you were yesterday.
PTB -thinking of you and your family.
Shaz - hugs to your mum.
The sun is really beaming today and I have had some lovely Skypes with the family which has made not being with them today a bit more bearable.
Today I am crocheting embellishments for birthday cards for DGD3, Megan (aged two next week which I can hardly believe!), and her mum, DIL2 (who is 29 the day after). I remember 29 - it was a nice, and very young, age to be!
Hope you are all having a good Sunday.

ps - I will most definitely do the update tomorrow!
My DIL2 showed me, on Skype, the beautiful bouquet she made for her mum - all tissue paper flowers in various shades of pink, each one with a Ferrero Rocher (sp?) in the centre, and all in a lovely clear glass vase. I should have asked her to take a photo but I forgot. It's a lovely idea that I shall remember in the future. It took her three hours to make so was a real labour of love, but it was truly stunning. Thought I would share the idea with you all!KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

just about to thaw my fingers out on a cup of coffee (waiting for kettle to boil) had to walk to school with DS2 to take his medicine in - he has an infected ingrown toenail now as well as a broken arm. poor love was limping when he came home friday, it ws only a little bit red on thursday so i told him to soak it in warm salt water and it should be ok. dr said that was right but he thinks the infection was already on its way by then. i hope he doesnt get a third health thing happen.
