Yoo Hoo :hello: only me ...did you miss me :)
Not read through yet but will have an hour or so later with a coffee when I have got things sorted...must go and do some shopping as the cupboard is bare !!! most of the washing is done just a few bits left now...

The weather was not good on our yearly jaunt to Benidorm cold most of the time, raining some of the time and windy now and then, but had a couple of "vino collapsio" and that soon warmed us up :rotfl:
Good job I took some woolies and a fleece with me... ooo talking woolies I found a shop that sold lovely crochet cotton AND OH pointed it out to me 'yay' success he must be thinking 'if you can't beat em etc' so every day before Dinner I had a shower and then sat and relaxed for a while with a bit of hooky stuff, using one of the patterns mrs-m kindly sent to me...what BLISS what can be better than that :)

Off to catch up with MrsTwins now, she had a BIG day while we were away, I was going with her but was on my way home, pity I would have loved to be there, sure she did ok though, I know she was very nervous.

Well I must away I hope all is well with you all in your corners of the world see you later have good days all

Hi everyone from a cold but sunny and bright France.

Mrs Twins -well done on giving your talk. I bet you've inspired lots more people now! The blog is looking wonderful with some gorgeous photos!

Mrs Moneypenny -what a lovely lovely name!

Pippa - sorry the weather let you down on your holiday. Benidorm is just a short distance from Torrevieja which is where DH and I want to buy a small holiday home (once we've sold our house here and bought a place back in the UK, of course!). We are fed up waiting for a proper continental summer here, and the freezing cold winters don't help, either!

F1- hope Mrs Moan doesn't hang around for too long.

Well, DH is working this week, so I've done a lot of housework and sorting out (I know I'm getting organised for when we eventually sell the house!); I have a beef stew in the slow cooker, and I'm going to treat myself to an afternoon hooking in front of the TV.

    Keep warm and safe, everyone.

Hi everybody. What lovely news about the baby .. And a beautiful name.
So glad mrs moneypennt sorry about Ds though. Sounds painful.

..f1... Give her a massive shove xxx

Mrs twins good for you ,.. Brilliant.

Kathy come a little further south. You would make lovely neighbours x

Shazi am wearing your socks.. So cosy. Thank you all over again x

Pippa sorry weather was not a bit kinder but glad you had a good time and feel refreshed.

    Craftycraftygood news about the squares.

Roaminsent you a wave as we came up through France.

    Thirzara warm welcome to you

Ginnyoften think of you and hope things are steady with your Doh .

Well we got home. A journey hopefully not to be repeated as we hit a terrible snow storm about 100 miles from Caen. Too long a story but I was glad to get there.
We such a good rest that it was a shame to end it with such a stressful time but we were not aware of the bad weather conditions til we hit them. We must have edged past 500 lorries just pulled over on the motorway and Kathy ,..... I see what you mean. Not a snow plough or policeman. Or grirtter to be seen.

Anyway we are safe. Now a quick trip to St Ives to see my brother and then sorting DMIL'S house. Got to be done.

All still going ahead with Ds.s move to Dubai. But we are thinking of going to see them in November. William is growing so fast we don't want to leave it too long before we see them all. I am a bit calmer about it now though.

Spring is in the air today, washing on the line. Lambs in th field and primroses in the hedgerows.

    Love to all x
Try and do a good deed every day.
