    Hi everyone!

I am very happy to be telling you that we have now made 4 Blankets for the Marie Curie Hospices. 2 others are being assembled. So that's 6.
I still need 6" Daffodil Squares Crocheted or Knitted for the other 3 Blankets.

We have noticed that Lucy over on Attic 24 has put up a Tutorial for a beautiful Daffodil and I'm wondering whether you would like to have a go? Why not make the Daff and sew it on to a Knitted or Crocheted Square for us?

    http://attic24.typepad.com/

I have been in touch with Marie Curie and they are very happy to receive our Blankets either to exhibit or use for fundraising.
As it is 'St.David's Day' today I thought the ideal day to 'plug' it.

    Thank you ever so much.

Hello everyone.. Lots of the usual love tucked in....
Market day today so some lovely fresh veggies and juicy oranges came home with us.

As ordered sat in the sun and read this afternoon. Lovely. And here they do menu in the day and menu in the evening.. Menu del dia and menu el niche. The evening meal may be 12 euros with wine as opposed to 10 at lunch time so I am dragging Doh out this evening. We have been trying different places which has been good.

Shaz. Xxx just enjoy the thought that someone wants to be in touch. Don't put any pressure on yourself at all by worry.

Mrs Twins. Hope you get lots of daffodil squares.

Psso ... Hope work is not too hectic glad washing machine is fixed. I can only imagine how hard it as to work with little J rushing around.

Right better go and get some lippy on
Try and do a good deed every day.

Chalky I REALLY wish I had a magic carpet...would be over like a shot! Yummy marmalade!
Do have a long weekend as managed to get Monday off and today is massage, shopping and a day with a good friend. Have given myself a good talking to and going to make a concerted effort to get out of this particularly naff rut....starting to excercise, up my protein and plan in fun on a regular basis. To start have booked on a cocktail making session, trial at boulders and going away for a whole night to see a good friend in Bristol!
    Lovely to see you psso!

isom - no no word of hysterical - hubby has been on to them this week as it appears that because time was running out to have it done on the waiting list - IVE BEEN REMOVED!!!! cant fathom it out - they have mention waiting up to a year and they did send me a clinic appt for end of August but the consultant has said "why would i want that as he knows what he has to do" so somewhere the secretary has things a little wrong Im sure it will get sorted xx ps thanks for telling me IN BOX is full - ive emptied it a bit! - hope you are having a nice relaxing weekend xx

for all those baking last week everything sounded delicious - I tried a Mary Berry all in one sponge and hubby said it was the best I had ever done and keep making them like that - I put coffee butter cream in middle and blowing my own trumpet it was lovely! - I love marmalade but no-one else does in the house

Anyway I said I was only going to be quick - hugs and love to all xxx thinking of you all as always xxx
