Hope you and DH have a lovely relaxing time soaking up the sun Pippa.

Grrrr Mrs MP. Don't blame you for being cross!

    Hope everyone else is OK.
Trying dpns again - hopefully a simplish-hat. Problem is, I'm not used to metal needles any more and these keep sliding out and escaping! dpns are making me feel like a right clumsy so and so :o

Ey up chuck - how're you? I'm a bit (lot) clumsy with dpns but got myself some Bamboo ones & found things much easier 'cos the wool grips a bit so they don't slide out as much. :T

Good morning one and all. I am in the middle of chutney and marmalade making which is lovely but not sure if I have enough jars here..... Kathy always saves lovely ones for me. I should have tucked some in when we came back.

We are here until the 13th of March. Lull before the storm of dealing with all DMIL'S STUFF!!!!!!!

Mrs Moneypenny. I was so sorry to hear of Ds's bike. No wonder you wanted a rant. Thank you so much for hedgies. I usually hear from the hedgie hospital in March so they would be wonderful xxx

Ginny . Hope you have a good day .

Purfungi .. So lovely to see you posting.

K2tog .. Great to see you popping in xx

Dpins .. As evidence of 1 sock tube might suggest not something I am a star with xx

Right must get on . Chutney to bottle and we are meeting friends for tapas lunch xx

  • Mioliere - at one time we thought we might end up near Beziers - a lovely area - but finally decided on a place further south - we're between Perpignan and the Spanish border.
Mrs Moneypenny - sorry to hear about the bike. Mine was stolen a while back from right outside the front doors of a hospital where I was visiting a friend - infuriating, isn't it?
Those in Spain - hope you are enjoying sunshine! We've had plenty here but also plenty of violent winds (Tramontane) which makes it feel freezing even when it isn't... Still it means there's little temptation to get out in the garden, so able to do a bit with the needles now and again!
I've had a stash of beads tucked away after a spurt of enthusiasm for making necklaces a while back; just got them out a couple of days ago and started one with really tiny beads. It takes FOREVER to get them threaded - will I ever finish it??
Well finally the wind has dropped so we're off out for a while - will try to drop in later.
