    10cm will be 4" Jean :D

The only way I know that is `cos the only `new money` stuff I can ever remember is 5cm is 2" ergo 10cm will be 4". Takes me a wee while to work out bigger numbers :o

Hope all goes well F1 and you`re back in our midst soon.

Keep enjoying the relaxez vous time Chalky. Bloomin cold here again today so you aren`t missing much. The spring like weather didn`t stay long unfortunately.

Sitting here absolutely stuffed. Went to the local carvery for a meal with DS and his gf, little J and DD as it`s her official 21st birthday today. Why do we always pile stuff on our plates and then struggle to finish it ? Only left a tattie though, which was a bit yukky looking when I cut into it and even managed a dish of ice cream with honeycomb sprinkles ;) Yum.

Been cracking on with the grannies as I`m having a problem with the barbie type clothes I`m doing. Even doing a tension square (never normally bother with `em) and getting that right, when I do the actual garment it comes out faaaar too big for barbie size. Jumper would probably fit three dolls in.. slight exageration - two definitely. So I`m well and truly scunnered (english translation - really fed up :D)
Would probably get on better with a 2 ply Shetland wedding ring shawl. Shhh, don`t tell LH`s Lou or she`ll have that in her next challenge

Off to put the hottie in the bed as an early night is on the cards. DS has commandeered (sp?) the telly, little lad is in bed and DD is away next door so I`ll hop into bed with my book. BLISS.

    Night night.

F1 be brave, you will be fine and dandy when its done. In fact I think you will be amazed how much better you will be, by buddy Karen had it done and was up and about in days and never looked back. We are all thinking of you hugs Ginny

My Mummy is good to me, she sent me a knitted clown to sew up and add all the bits to, bless her and hid a bag of faberooney chocs in the bag :D The clown is for a friend of mine who is trying to raise some cash to buy specialist equipement for her little boy. She has a stall at a fair soon and I said I would send her some crafty things to sell to help her. What she doesnt know is I have made a box full! and hopefully the clown will be finished too.

Hugs to all, Chalky hope its warmer there than it is here BRRRRR...
