evening hope things are going well for you all as far as is possible
I really like the caterpillar pattern thank you roaming
wasn't sure what a Baktus scarf was so looked it up, really like the idea so might have a go at one later.
I have done a few squares for charity so far, will do some more before posting them
Have started a pillow for son 2. He wanted a knitted blanket for Xmas, black and white check. I made it a double size with plain black squares and patterned white ones, putting the backing on was really difficult due to the weight. So now the matching pillow has been requested.

This is really soft and not too fluffy and the seller seems to have a good range of colours. It is quite expensive but I think it's quite good value considering the type of yarn0 -

Good morning everyone and lots of love tucked in.lovely to see people posting.
Ginny ... Hope life is a little bit less stressful today xxx
F1.. Am loving your blog. Keep stash busting apart from baby blanket of course. Keep the pots clinking instead xxxx
Keep thinking bout those caterpillar thingies. The interfacing and shapes sound a good idea. You could even put letters on to spell the little ones name.
BUT ,... I must not be distracted, even by the Bactus or the 1 sock tube which is still winking at me.the BIG blanket is continuing to grow. Approx 1700 grams of yarn so far!!!
I am off to the opticians this morning to get eyes checker post op. has anyone used online glasses?
Hope snow has packed its case preferably with Edna as well

with the snake thingie - different colours (but all the same shape) would also work- or even lovely patterned material.... oh I might need to gird my loins and go into the sweatshop - which is freezing!
You all have a great day whatever you are getting up to

i knitted lily and lola a corner to corner blanket each using (i think) sirdar crofter baby wool, its one of those that self patterns and looks like fairisle but because i did it corner to corner you dont get the fairisle but a lovely soft merging of the shades, i did one in the lilac shaded wool and one in cream/coffee.
it washed fantastically and was beautifully soft.
im going to be getting another 4 baby to do another in a different shade for the new baby
love the caterpiller, lola might be getting one of those to play with:T
hugs to all with strict instructions to stay warm and safeSPC~12 ot 124

Hi everyone!
Chalky - I did leave a note on your blog. My thoughts are with you.
Kathy - I have now made 346 Sunshine Blankets with the help of our SIBOLETTES.
Do you want this for your totals?
lucylollipop Isn't James Brett Chunky irrestible? I have just made a couple of large Granny Blankets and I so loved working with it.
Would love to see a photo of yours!
Managed to sell a couple to raise funds for SIBOL. They are just so warm and cozy. Ideal for sofa use etc.,
Mine are around 4ft square. How big are yours?

Now....... as you know we have started collecting Squares again for SIBOL. www.sunshineinternationalblanketsoflove.blogspot.com
We seem to have a lot of knitted Squares coming in and as you know assembling Knitted is not one of my favourite to do's. I know Chalky said to Pippa that she would have some more later on in the year but I was wondering......whether anyone else had spare time on their hands that they 'might' want to assemble some blankets for our SIBOL Group for the Elderly. I've had some come in from a Scottish Craft Group and some also from an Elderly Lady in her 80's from one of the homes I visit.
I really want to try and keep on top of the Knitted. Unfortunately I can't pay you, but if you like working for charity and want to use some of your yarn up please feel free to contact me.
Through my blog (my email address is on there) or maybe pm me on here.
I also would like to say that we have lots of SIBOL Challenges taking place and I welcome your Squares.
As you know Chalky has suggested a great Challenge for 'Sight Savers' and I would love you to pop over and read all about it. We are making a special Challenge Blanket to raise money for cataract removal operations abroad. As this topic is very dear to her heart.
If there is anything you would like to know please contact me.
Thanks everyone!

Mrs TWinsyes, I will definitely make up some more blankets. ANne will bring the squares down and then after a quick "fix" I will get them via ANne back to you again.
I have completed 317 squares for the BIG blanket. PHew,PHrw and thrice phew. Feel a bit more settled with it now but it is going to be so big as I think I am maybe half way through .... And this is the project from someone who thinks a premature baby hat is a long project!!!
Love to all xxxTry and do a good deed every day.0
